Nice shoe (if you like the velcro closures)! 5Built for comfort, not styleThese shoes were purchased following my husband's hip surgery when he would go to P.T. and could not bend far enough to tie his shoes. The therapist suggested getting Velcro-closing sneakers. These shoes fit perfectly, and were easier for him to remove and put on. They have a removable orthotic device which could be taken out while wearing thicker socks.The one drawback that some people have commented on is the clunky appearance of this footwear. "Those are the ugliest shoes I have ever seen" - said by a 93 year old family member. If you aren't trying to look too cool or fashionable, these could be the shoes for you. 4Not actually AetrexThese are not actually aetrex, but Apex. Nonetheless, the fitting and quality are the same as the other 3 pair I ve owned in the past. Good shoes. Will buy again. Hope the quality continues to be maintained. 4
