Customer Reviews

Asics Show Sizes Have ChangedI'm a size 12 and Asics have always fit great in the past. But I noticed with this latest pair that they run a little small, especially in the big toe area. Apparently Asics has altered the scale of how they size their sneakers, so I suggest getting a half size larger than normal. I just bought another pair, sized 12.5, and they fit fine. 3These shoes are light weight and comfortable.I'm a college student who have to walk far distances for my classes. I was first introduced to the new cumulus 19 a few year ago. I think 2 1/2. I was waiting on these pairs to come out for a while and they stopped selling the 19s as well. So I used brocks to work in but they are heavier. I seen that these shoes were available bout them got them in this past Monday. Been to work in them since then. Still feel the same. I have a small arch in my feet and I tend to (I forgot the correct word) I think overpronate my feet roll on the other edge of my foot the most. If you haven't been to a running shoe specialist please do. They will record your natural walking on a treadmill and look at your shoes to help also determine type of feet you have and what shoe will be best. I found out my running shoe size is 11.5 4e I could instantly feel the difference when I ran in the shoes they let me try on. I usually buy a size 11 cause I normally buy a half size bigger in shoe. Sorry for getting off topic but I love These shoes. These are great for that. Asics are great for running and jogging in as well. That's what I normally used them for. But I gave working in these a try. So fsr so good. I stand a d move around 8+ hours a day at work at I do it comfortably in these shoes. I will replace my shoes every 6 months as usual. It's worth it for the price. I never had a seller really ask me nicely to review and give my opinion(if they did maybe I just missed it) but I was contacted to give my review and this is one of them. I wish they would contsct me personally when the 21s come out or if they come out. Lol most definitely going to check out this sellers inventory of products again soon. 5Love Amazon/Zappos, dislike this shoeI've been buying the ASICS Cumulus shoe for years. They changed the sole for this model (20) and I found it to be much harder than previous versions. I went to a running store and got inserts to make them usable, but I'm stuck for the time being with significant pain in the ball of my foot. I'm very disappointed with this new shoe and will likely move to a different brand in the future. 2a waste of moneywhat i disliked was spending hours resourcing what type of shoe to by aand these come back as one of the top brands for comfort and stability for heavier set people that walked on the side of the feet these shoes were supposed help correct this issue but didnt work well and the cushioning in these shoes sucked from the start so pretty much wasted $120 on shoes will never buy again 2Shoe lifetime < 100 milesHad these shoes for about 5 weeks. I bought them specifically for road running, probably put 80 miles on them before noticing a section of the left outsole had come unglued and was flopping around causing poor foot strikes. Clearly this is a fault in the workmanship/materials. Contacted asics through their warranty page as the shoe should still be under warranty but they have not responded after a week. Extremely disappointing to spend this kind of money on a shoe and having it die before 100 miles. As for when the shoe was functional I mostly liked the performance. The toe box is wide enough for toe engagement and I chose this model specifically because I have high arches and supinate, both of which are accommodated nicely. Within a week of switching to these from my worn out pegasus 35s I stopped having perineal tendinitis and patella-femoral tracking issues. As mentioned in other reviews the heels are on the harder side and I definitely felt like I was pounding the ground harder with each foot strike. I m young and my joints/bones have adjusted but if you absolutely need low impact look elsewhere. A little detail I liked, I don t know what they make these laces out of but they lock down like Fort Knox, never came untied. 1Great for Morton's NeuromaAs a non-runner I needed shoes to make walking more comfortable with a morton's neuroma in my left foot. All shoes I used left my left foot numb after a mile or two. After researching good shoes for neuroma and having good experience with Asics, I ordered the Cumulus and they have exceeded expectations. I now can walk all day with no pain or numbness in my left foot. The shoes disperses weight off the area of the neuroma so well that I have to go out of my way to put pressure on the area even to be reminded that the neuroma is there. I haven't run in years and don't plan to but I feel like I could run in these if I decided to abandon cycling and start running again. I really thought I'd never say that. I like them so much that I plan to buy a second pair to keep at my girlfriend's house for when we take unplanned walks from her place. They also look nice for running shoes and are light and insanely breathable, a huge plus because my feet get hot easily. I'm 100% happy with these shoes and would recommend them to anyone with morton's neuroma. 5Great quality sneakersI've been purchasing older versions of this model shoe for a few years now. The gel-cumulus 18 were the only running sneakers I trusted. I was hesitant to try the 20s but after receiving these sneakers and putting about 10 miles the first week I'm amazed at how great of a job Asics did with this upgrade. The fit is great, and for anyone like me who's pinky always manages to poke a hole in sneakers this version seems to have some extra material from the toe cap that wraps over to the outside. Overall great pair of sneakers! 5Running shoesThese running shoes fit as expected. I read some reviews that a buyer stated they run small not so. Remember for running shoes to fit perfectly wear a size larger. In my case i got me a 9.5 my dress shoes are 8.5. In the past i had wore a 9.0 Nike and was a little tight. Ever since i got two sizes larger. This pair of ASICS Gel-Cumulus 20 SP Men's Running Shoe are comfortable and light. 5Nice fit but very hard heal compared to my 2016 Gel-Cumulus 17.I bought these to replace my ASICS Gel-Cumulus 17 shoes. On paper they seemed to have the same features including the 10mm heal/Toe differential. But these shoes have a thicker and firmer heal than the "17"s. The "17"s have a very soft heal-to-toe roll when walking. These shoes have a hard heal impact on the outer edge by comparison. I need the soft roll of the "17"s to avoid aggravating neck issues on long hikes. The heal/toe differential is more like 13-14mm than the 10mm specified. The shoes fit the same as the "17"s but the cushioned performance is much different. My comparison was done with a second pair of "17"s bought on Amazon 28 months ago but not yet used. 3Nice running shoe, good supportI've had these for a couple of weeks now and have put on about 50 miles of moderate running (7.5 to 8.5 minute miles). I'm pretty happy. I usually don't shell out this kind of money for a running shoe since I go through them regularly. However, these have a very nice support in the heel and my toes are not swimming in the box. I've used them in very hot weather, and they became saturated with moisture at one point. It only took a couple of hours to dry out and they continue to be in good shape. I've been with Asics for a while now. I've tried other shoes, but keep coming back to them. 5
