No More Bright Lights to Blind MeLove my new night time driving glasses. The bright white lights that every seems to have now are no longer a problem in city driving and especially on the highway. The yellow seems to keep the brightness at bay while making it clearer and easier to see everything else. No bright lights to blind me at the most inopportune times. My wife has now started to wear them over her regular glasses when driving at night that had always been hard for her. We are both very happy with these glasses. Thank you. 5Some of the best day and night sunglasses I have never wornThese are honestly some really nice glasses. Especially for the cost. I didn't have to adjust them at all and they fit perfectly right out of the box. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the strange colors that it seems to me of other cars. Every car seems to have a yellowish over the windows and some of the bodies. It's kind of distracting. But otherwise I would give them five stars because of how well really to improve vision both during the day and at night. During the day when there is a lot of cloud cover it actually makes it seem like the sun is shining through clearly. Love the glasses. 4My pair was returned - no polarization to speak ofordered night glasses WITH polarization. Maybe I got a bad pair??? They has almost ZERO polarization. Even using their own included test strip. Unfortunately.Compared with 3 other glasses I have with polarization (polarization cuts glare - my biggest concern with night driving) wither I looked at their little test strip or street lights...all the ones I have work but these had little to no effect on the glare.Again, maybe I got a bad pair....but I will keep looking for better night driving glasses. 2Updated reviewUpdate- customer service just contacted me offering a refund. Bought these for my husband as we were planning a trip down to TX and were driving straight through the night. He wore them the first night and they seemed fine. The second night he was wearing them, he pulled them off his face and the black part came apart from the arm and is dangling. I'm finally getting around to reviewing them and wish I could have returned them :( 4Fit well, good looking and they work!My husband had cataract surgery in his right eye that failed, making it almost impossible to drive at night with oncoming headlights so bright he was blinded by the light. He refused surgery in the left eye for fear he would not be able to drive at night at all. He would squint and try to close his right eye while driving at night. No good! I bought these glasses for him and it reduces the glare significantly. Amazing invention. Not to mention they are very good looking. Worth the money at twice the price! Thank you so much. 5Does Not Do Anything To Cut GlareThis does NOT reduced glare from oncoming headlights. I don't know where the positive reviews came from and I fell for them. That was pretty dumb of me. In all honesty, it's just an overpriced driving glasses. Just makes everything you see on the road yellow. I cannot and never would recommend buying these driving glasses. 1The worst EVER!!!First of all, at night, the white glare coming from incoming traffic, instead of being white, it's bright yellow! Plus the visibility while wearing them at night is VERY MUCH reduced and hazardous, honestly, very dangerous!Second, if you wear them when it's sunny, they're totally useless! My regular dollar store sunglasses do a million time better job. The amount of GLARE made my eyes watery. Absolutely useless!!!So I talked to my Ophthalmologist about them and he laughed at me. He recommended wearing AG Clear Glasses. AG stands for Anti Glare coated clear glasses for night driving, and AG tinted ones for day driving.I wouldn't just not recommend them, I would urge AMAZON to ban them!!! 1Surprised!I bought these night driving glasses because they are inexpensive but had my doubts as to their real usefulness. I used them last night for the first time and it also happened to be raining. I was so shocked at how clear it made my vision through the rain and the headlights. They now have a permanent spot in my car for night driving. 5Not As Pictured & Too Narrow Cut Inbetween LensWas really hoping for something good here, but left with utter disappointment. I attached a picture to this review of a cheap drug store pair of sun glasses and these glasses. Pay particular attention to the cut of the lens. These glasses have a significantly narrow cut (notice how much wider the sun glasses are angled through the lens area to accomodate your nose). The adjustment range for the nose piece is accurate, as they are moveable, but the lenses are not. I don't have a small nose, but it's not x-large either (I'd say medium-to-large border). I couldn't put these on without the lenses touching my nose, and the cut on the side is sharp (left a mark for sure). I reached out and let them know and received a short apology from the maker, and I would have considered giving them a little more credit as it appears to be quality materials, but then I noticed their picture here. I've attached the stock picture for reference in case it changes at some point. Look how in the stock picture the cut of the lens tappers outward in line with the frame at the bridge of the nose. Then look at the pair I received, where it is extremely evident the cut follows no where near the frame and cuts sharply and narrowly down (also notice the frame itself no where matches the picture - on mine the frame remains above the lens in the front and the picture has it behind the lens). That's just false advertising, as that is not representative of the product you'll receive. If you've got a super small/narrow nose, you may luck out, but anything larger I'd recommend staying away! 1Good starter set for nighttime driving.I use these to drive at nights and they are both great and frustrating. As long as you re in a place you re familiar with or a well lit area they work just fine. I ve had problems on the highway though. These glasses are great when you re looking ahead but since they stop just in front of your eyes when you try to check your blind spots for other vehicles it s like switching from day to night in a fraction of a second while speeding down the highway at night. It s no fault of the manufacturer but for those who want to use these for help driving at night I suggest getting a wrap around version that has this same plastic on the sides of your face.These are a good starter set if you re not sure if they ll help. They re cheap enough that they won t break the bank but very useful for the price. 4
