    • Made of soothingly soft KbT, GOTS, IVN Best Certified Organic Merino Wool.
    • Fits snugly to protect tender ears from wind.Soft woolen ties. Natural fibers breathe for comfort in warmth or cold. Absorbs moisture, remains warm even when wet.
    • Natural wool with lanolin gives self-cleansing properties, to minimize need for washing.
    • For best results, wash by hand with lanolin-containing woolwash to retain hygienic properties.
    • Choose size based on your baby's full length. European size corresponds to baby's length in centimeters. 1 inch = 2.5 cm. Age in months is estimate. 50 = 20 in.

I love the way my baby looks in it, and get tons of compliments. It's very soft & warm, fluffy, not itchy. The 6-9 months fits my 5 1/2 month old baby perfectly. She is a big baby, but I wouldn't expect this hat to fit if your baby is closer to 9 months. I'm planning on replacing the ties to help it last through the winter. I got a ton of compliments on how cute this hat is! 5Soft, beautiful wool but defective seam.I have several items from LANACARE that I love and this is the same incredibly soft, beautiful wool as those items - I use their breast pads and diaper covers and I have a sweater set that all of my kids wore as babies that is still in great shape. I bought this hat to protect my daughter's head after she had surgery and it came apart in two places at the seams after just one wash. I washed it gently in lukewarm water with Eucalan woolwash as I do all of my woolens. Based on the quality of my other LANACARE items I'm sure this is just a fluke and I can repair it but I'm still disappointed. 3Love itLovely hat!! Made of good cotton material and with laces it holds well on my baby's head and covers his ears which is the reason I bought it for this cold weather.
