    The costume is larger than described and the leg opening ...The costume is larger than described and the leg opening design makes the costume difficult for a child to walk in ill have to return it unfortunately! 1I hope it will be pretty cool/cold or your child will be hotWell let me start off by saying that this is a fairly warm costume for a child to wear..I hope it will be pretty cool/cold or your child will be hot. I live in SE TX so this isn't going to work..lol My little girl is about 48" and I bought a size medium thinking it would somewhat fit. I guess I was wrong. It's huge...she would need for be about 5-6" taller in order to wear this costume. I'm not hear to complain but atleast it's a dolphin and it's made with good material...just the sizing issues will be disappointing for yourself as well as a child hoping to be a dolphin amd it doesn't fit. 1Over all it was an ok costume just needed a little better design for walking/movingThe leg section was much shorter than I was expecting and he had a hard time walking, especially on stairs. It was a little big but the small would have been to small. Over all it was an ok costume just needed a little better design for walking/moving. 3... year old and this was too big but I easily took it up and she will be able to ...My daughter is a tall 5 year old and this was too big but I easily took it up and she will be able to wear it for a few years to come...It is a great costume and she LOVED it!!!
