Customer Reviews

not worth the money, IMONot the best of quality, arrived with scratches on front and back of left lens, right on the line of sight...as far as how the glasses work on glare reduction, they kinda blur everything slightly and make everything have a yellow tint. My wife says they help her a little bit when it rains and it's dark. Myself, I see better without. Sending these back would cost more than the glasses are worth. 1Works if you have light-colored eyesI drive to work every morning in the dark, and constantly had to hold my left hand up to block the glaring headlights from on-coming traffic, which also blocked half my field of view. Even traffic signal would hurt my eyes. Sometimes to the point that my eyes would tear up and I couldn't keep them open, it hurt so much. Not a good thing when driving.I purchased these because of another review that said they work for people with LIGHT COLORED EYES. Having blue eyes myself, I figured for the price, it was worth a try. I am amazed at how well they actually work! No more holding up my hand, no more tearing. Sure the occasional moron who doesn't dim his lights is bothersome, but it's tolerable. On the down side, they are a tad heavy, and since they fit over the eyeglasses, occasionally they'll fog up just a bit. But my drive is only 20 minutes, so not that big a deal. I've been using them for 2 months now, over the summer. We'll see if the fogging is an issue come wintertime. To be fair, I'm guessing the design is on purpose to prevent non-filtered light from getting through.Yes, I would definitely recommend these, especially if you have LIGHT COLORED EYES. I can honestly say, that I will never drive at night without them. 4Warning these are a scam. These are not as seen on TV. I don't know who wrote those reviews but I trusted them and ordered 2 pair. I thought I could use them when I was on the boat at night. The box is marked similar style seen on TV. Not as seen on TV. There is no deference with or without these glasses on at night or day, except everything is a little yellow looking. I am very disappointed in these even at 5 bucks its still a scam and they suck. Now that I read all the good reviews again it does sound like an infomercial. LolOwell my loss I got ripped. Buyers beware. I would add a picture of the box but I don't know how. The box has the same as seen on TV logo but if you read the logo says similar style seen on TV made in china. I contacted the seller they told me I could return them. I emailed them back asking if they was going to pay the shipping to return them. They said no. it cost me 20.00 for 2 pair with shipping. It will cost me 8.00 to ship them back so in the end I will get a 10.00 refund in the end I am out a total of 18.00 bucks. Another example of china ripping the American people off. O and if Amazon would have noted the seller as east cost gifts and more I would never of bought these in the first place. Owell for 18 bucks they make for good conversation. 1As far as I'm concerned, these were a total ...As far as I'm concerned, these were a total ripoff. Trying to wear them at night actually seemed dangerous to me. They may have made oncoming lights less traumatic to my vision, they simply seemed to make everything darker and it was very difficult to see with them on. I only wore them one time and finally took them off. I bought two pair and if anyone wants to purchase them from me, let me know. 1ScamAbsolutely no help in reducing glare. They turn everything yellow, but don't reduce glare at all. Don't waste your time. Returning them. 1Good Glasses for Post Cataract SugeryFolks either love or hate these glasses. There is a reason for this. If you are of a certain age and have not had cataract surgery, your natural lens is yellow and is filtering much of the blue and ultraviolet light that is found in modern headlights. If you have had cataract surgery, your vision in the blue and near ultra violet spectrum has been restored. When using these glasses at night, that spectrum is filtered out such that the oncoming headlights are not nearly so bright. These glasses do not eliminate glare but do make it easier to see since your pupils are not going to constrict as much do to the oncoming headlights. The glasses do not function as sun glasses during the day. 5Yellow glasses work great! These are yellow lens glasses that are designed to fit over and rest on prescription glasses. If you don't wear prescription glasses, you can get plain glasses with yellow lenses. I couldn't decide, and they were cheap, so I got both the ClearVision HD and HD Night Vision glasses and used each for 1 week. They are pretty much the same except the HD Night Vision ones have matte black frames and the ClearVision HD ones have gloss black frames. This review will apply equally to both. About the frames, both are bulky and obstruct peripheral vision. The yellow lenses are great if you have the kind of night blindness that is common in people with light colored eyes. I learned about yellow lenses from a friend with light blue eyes who has the same sort of night vision problems I have. I had a friend with brown eyes try these, and she noticed no difference or improvement in her vision. With these glasses on, at night I have less glare and improved depth perception, and there is greater contrast between different objects so I can see what is around me more clearly. My night vision is better, but vision in low light situations (fog, heavy clouds, etc.) is improved even more significantly. When it's semi dark, I can see in color with these on, but without them it's pretty much just shades of gray; these glasses make it much easier to tell one object from another, and how far away they are. These are not "night vision" glasses -- they won't enable you to see in the dark -- but they will probably improve your night vision if you have this sort of night blindness. 5Love these but.....I love how these help on the highway and reduce the glare in town. My only warning is the side panel has thick plastic around it that causes a small blind spot. I almost hit a lady rounding the corner of my street because I did not see her until she came into view of the panel. Scared me. Now that I know that small blind spot is there I am more careful. I may search for some other glasses that eliminate that plastic around the side panel. I do wear them over my glasses so the way they are positioned may have contributed but still be warned. 4Does not perform anywhere close to the promiseThey do nothing except make everything yellow.Rubbish product. I returned mine. I believe it would be a bad move for you to buy these.RegardsRay 1Not good for night visionThese didn't work for me for night vision. So now they will just be safety glasses. I'm 52, my husband is 59. We live on the coast and drive at night. Some road have little lighting and all the cars coming at you in the opposite lane. Didn't help the glare from oncoming lights and I could not see any better using these. 1
