Highly Recommend!I'm 23 weeks on my 2nd pregnancy and I'm having a LOT of pain. Sciatic nerve pain, round ligament pain, SPD and back pain from my heavy belly. I look further along than I am (but hey, I'm proud of this belly!) so I really have to watch my posture all the time already. Walking is really uncomfortable and painful and this thing is WONDERFUL. I can't believe I have been walking around without a support belt. Much cheaper than others I've considered, doesn't show much under clothes (even fitted tops- yay!) very comfortable under the belly and provides the right amount of support. Don't make it too tight tho but tbh it doesn't need to be tight to work. I wear it every day. I do need to loosen it when I sit and drive, but my binder after my previous C-section was the same. This is easy to adjust, good back support without being too bulky or falling down- I am very pleased with it. I read a review where someone said she needed the extra strap to go over the belly later in her pregnancy and if I also need that I see it'll be easy to attach and also hide well under clothes. Great purchase! 5Couldn't live without it!Because this is my first pregnancy, I didn't know what to do when it became almost unbearable to walk. The doctor suggested a support band, and I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find in stores. I know that alot of reviews state that it didn't work for them, but I have to disagree!I was experiencing severe pain in my lower abdomen and groin area. I could hardly walk without limping because my ligaments felt like they were pulling apart. However, after using this for one day, I noticed a huge difference. I still felt a little pulling but not nearly the pain from before. Now I refuse to leave home without it. It's definitely worth the investment. It was pretty much self explanatory on how to use it and I like the adjustable straps. I found that I can't wear it all day because it starts to irritate my skin, and I don't like the pressure of anything on my belly too long. 4Works well, comfortable, goes smaller than size 6I have suffered from horrendous sciatica and round ligament pain from practically day 1 of my pregnancy. At about 25 weeks, I was at a point where I couldn't walk around for more than 15 minutes without significant pain. My doctor and a friend both recommended this belt to relieve some pressure from the weight of my stomach and to provide support for my back and it has helped me to be able to stay on my feet for up to an hour without too much discomfort. I was a little concerned that the belt would be too big because it's listed as size 6-14 and I am usually a size 2-4, however, the entire front of the belt is made of velcro and can easily be adjusted as tightly as you need it. It's not the most comfortable or attractive thing in the world, but it's a good inexpensive way to get some temporary relief. 5Instant relief, go for it!!I have been struggling with pain in my belly button for the past few weeks (I'm just about 29 weeks pregnant), but I was resisting ordering a belt. Decided to try this one since it was very reasonably priced. We found it outside when I was dragging my (tired, achey) self outside to walk the dog. Strapped it on right away...SO MUCH BETTER!! I can't comment on longevity yet, but even if I had to order a new one in a few weeks, the instant relief is worth it.So far the baby doesn't hate it to the point that he kicks until I remove it. We shall see how it goes when our little guy is getting bigger.Update: I've been wearing my belt for two weeks and I couldn't be happier. I also bought another one because I would like to be able to wash them occasionally. If you have belly button pressure, I highly recommend this item. 5Not great, not awfulThe price was right to give it a shot, and it works well enough that I'm not sending it back. As others have noted, the scratchy velcro on the sides of the back belt doesn't match the size of the soft velcro of the front belt, so you have to make sure you have extra fabric somewhere in your outfit to tuck under the overhang to avoid scratching. There are a lot of straps to manage-- the front under-belly strap, the inner narrow back strap (what purpose does this one serve?), the outer wide back strap (that actually does the work of the belt), and the over-belly strap (which I don't use right now). It's no miracle product, but for the distances I walk and the amount of time I spend sitting, it does a good enough job to add a little extra support that I'm not terribly disappointed. 3Ehhh...not so greatI am currently 38 weeks pregnant, and have tried it multiple times, but have only actually worn this once. I have bad back and hip issues this pregnancy, and thought that a band like this would be great and help me! I've had recommendations from co-workers to get a band similar to this. However, the band fits really weird. I am a slightly smaller frame then the average 38 week pregnant female(I have had this band since I was 25 weeks) and each time I have tried this band on, my belly sticks out over the top, kind of like a muffin top. the part that is supposed to go over my belly is also basically useless as it falls down on me all the time. This also seems to squeeze my hips pretty tightly, which is nice because of my hip pain, and it provides support, but it also squeezes my stomach which leaves me short of breath and feeling sick. 2I know that was bad but that's why I made this purchase)Feeling the need for support, prior to this purchase I had been alternating between wearing my waist cincher occasionally on the last setting and a softer, more flexible quilted material type of girdle (yes, I know that was bad but that's why I made this purchase). I made this purchase because I was feeling light pressure in my lower belly and felt I needed support (I am early in my pregnancy, in my first trimester) and had a belly pouch before conceiving, being that I am overweight.I have had historical diagnosis' in prior pregnancies of a incompetent cervix, so anything I can do to support my pregnancy GOD willing to a full term healthy baby, I am willing to do. So I made this purchase in hopes of getting some relief of the pressure and also support for my growing belly, especially my lower belly.Applying the maternity belt wasn't difficult or complicated and instructions were printed on the box. But I found the top band (which can be applied optionally) to fit awkwardly and sort of squished my fat folds on my belly and making my shirt look ill fitted. Though this product is purported to come in 2 sizes, I only saw the one size (M) on Amazon, that is supposed to fit up to a size 14. Prior to this pregnancy, I was a solid size 14 wearing an XL and in some clothes(mostly tops only) a size L, however now I am leaning more to a size 16. I should have sized up on this item as the stretch is minimal. I feel the maternity belt offered some support but I would have like a more structured solid lift/support of my lower belly. This will do for now and I will explore other options as my pregnancy progresses. 3Good while standing, but not super thrilledI got one of these for second pregnancy because I was BIG. Very swollen and very heavy, and overall, just very, very uncomfortable. It definitely helped with back pain (as well that "my uterus is going to just fall off" feeling) while I was on my feet. However, I found it extremely uncomfortable (to the point of worrying whether it going to be detrimental to the health of baby) while sitting. One other con was that they made the scratchy party of the Velcro wider than the soft part that went across the belly, so unless you angle it just right, you end up scratching your skin a lot. It's just a bad design and inconvenient. You could wear it over your clothes, or at least over high-paneled maternity pants, but then you have to take it off every time you go to the bathroom, which, considering you're pregnant, is probably pretty often. 3I love it and have been using it all the time since I got itThank god for this belt! I'm 22 weeks pregnant with twins (belly size of a full term singleton) and was suffering from really, really bad ligament pain. I tried the It's You Babe Prenatal Cradle (couldn't get the sizing right), the Core Baby Hugger (offered support, but I couldn't stand it for multiple reasons), and the Bracoo Abdominal Binder (helpful, but not quite enough support). Finding the curad belt was SUCH a relief. It offered support whether I was sitting or standing, hid under my clothing better than the baby hugger and the it's you babe cradle--it still sticks out a bit, but, frankly, with the support it offers, I just don't care. it's helped my ligament pain and back pain (I use it when I have to carry things around or do a lot of bending over or lots of walking--or when I'm just in pain). It's a godsend. If you're suffering with ligament pain, try it and see if it helps. It's a million times simpler than the other bands and harnesses I found and I really hope that it continues to work for me as this pregnancy progresses, since it's so helpful now. Fingers crossed! In the meantime, I'm really grateful to have found it and I'm in SO much less pain as a result of using it. And it wasn't very expensive compared to the others, which was a total plus!****UPDATE: I'm now 31 weeks pregnant with twins (belly size MUCH bigger than when I initially wrote this review) and I'm still using this belt and SO grateful for it. I now have to use it with the over-the-top-of-the-belly additional strap part, as the main belt it slides down if I don't. It feels a little weird, but it holds the belt up (I hadn't had to use it at first). I'm still really happy with this belt. I've been having less ligament pain, but I have been having lots of stress on my abs (and uterus) as my belly is just getting exponentially bigger at a very fast pace--which has been triggering lots of braxton hicks contractions. This band has been helping to ease both the ab pain and seems to quell the braxton hicks contractions a bit (probably because it's taking some of the stress out of my belly and uterus by holding it up for me). Because of this, I'm able to be more active for longer periods of time (meaning I have about an hour or two more of activity than I have without it--and when I say "activity" I mean doing light walking/shopping/making dinner/washing dishes--not huge amounts of activity, but without it, I pretty much have to sit down about 20 minutes after getting out of bed in the morning, so it's allowing me to continue to get things done. I've only got about two inches of the front part of the belt left before I grow out of it, so we'll see if it makes it through the duration of my pregnancy. My fingers are crossed that it'll go the distance. So far, this is still one of the best purchases I've made to help me be mobile and as comfortable as possible during my pregnancy. 5... my last month of pregnancy and I am so glad I bought this supporterIm in my last month of pregnancy and I am so glad I bought this supporter. When I saw belly bands in the maternity store I thought they were a gimmick but when I was visiting my doctor and told him I work on my feet all day and do a lot of lifting, he said I should get one.I chose this one because the brand is more medical and I figured it would be better quality than the much more expensive ones at the maternity store. I also suffered with more abdominal pain than back pain, which some other reviews said this one was good for. It definitely was! I seriously work 8 hours on my feet, helping customers, running around solving employees' mistakes, up and down stairs, moving furniture, and this kept me from being in pain. Then I moved into a new house and spent a week fixing it up, painting, organizing, packing/unpacking. All kinds of things that are taxing on a pregnant body but we survived!Very sturdy, easy to use and adjust throughout the day. Some cons: it's not low-profile. Hides well enough under clothes but can be a bit lumpy.Hot and itchy by the end of the day... But I'm pregnant in the hottest part of summer, so I'd be miserable regardless. The band part in the middle stretched out, but I think I got it a size too big not realizing they even came in sizes, so I sort of made a mess of it, but it still works! 4
