    So happy with this beautiful treasure box.So happy with this beautiful treasure box. It was a Christmas gift for my 5 year old granddaughter and she REALLY was absorbed by how pretty it is. Love the Unicorn song. A nice accompanying gift with this was the book for her birthday, "You and Me and the Wishing Tree" by Nancy Tillman. My little one is at an age where she recognizes and appreciates the "Special" gifts. Love her to pieces!! 5The Day the Music DiedMy daughter was thrilled to receive this music box for her 10th birthday. It is colorful, whimsical and she loves the little Pegasus. She filled the compartments with all of her little treasures. Unfortunately, the music stopped playing after 4 days which has her in tears. 1Sturdy, Beautiful, Full of Storage Space, with Magical MusicMy 6 year old's favourite birthday gift! She has filled it with her nicer jewelry but still has plenty of room left for new acquisitions. There are so many fun little drawers just perfect for rings and pendants, with the bigger spaces for necklaces and bracelets. She adores the twirling, glittery pegasus but seems to enjoy the lovely, magical arrangement of Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata the most. She keeps the box next to her bed and sometimes plays the music box until she false asleep. We are all very impressed with the quality and thickness of the cardboard. It is so strong, you wouldn't think it to be cardboard at first. You can tell it is going to last for many years to come. I recommend this item without reservation to anyone who wants a gorgeous, well made musical jewelry box for the horse or pegasus fanatic in their life, provided of course that they are old enough to not play with it. I've never met a jewelry box yet that could stand up to being used for a toy! 5Cute gift for a little girl!Adorable, my daughter loves it! 5Beautiful but doesnt work...I bought this for my little sister who absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, the box doesnt work and no music plays.I purchased it pre christmas and ended up having a very late christmas in February (aka she opened it last night) as the siblings are out of state. Very disappointed as I have no option to replace it for her now. Very sad that such an expensive music box doesnt function. 2Cheaply made for the priceI paid $23 for it. Now that I see it, that is overpriced for what it is. It s definitely a toy and cheaply made. You can see the perforated fold-guides on the inside top. To call any of the drawers large is not factual. You might be able to fit a very few little girl s skinny bangle bracelets in the top part, but nothing of that size will fit in the other drawers. Rings and chains (which will tangle in a drawer if stored together) will fit and that is all. I wasn t expecting extravagance, but for this price, I expected more. I could probably have done better at Target. 3Something different- fantasy animalThis has somewhat subdued coloring, but the unicorn is painted well. It was shipped in a box protecting the little knobs on the side drawers. It is made from thick cardboard with a glossy picture on top. I've only seen little ballerinas and so this is a nice switch to a fantasy animal. It seems pretty sturdy for a young girl to put treasures in. I have a daughter who is girly, but not in to ballerinas. I'm keepin it. 4Unicorn won't stay down!!!!Well constructed, strong wooden box. The metal winder on the back seems pretty solid, however, the unicorn inside that spins and the mechanism that makes the music stop and start had issues early on. The unicorn doesn't seem to want to close all the way upon closing the lid, therefore, it will sometimes continue to play music after the lid is closed. We have had to open/close the lid several times in order for the unicorn to position itself correctly so the music stops. For the price, I would expect the unicorn inside to be made a bit better and sturdier....afterall...little girls love unicorns, so, chances are it's for a child. Just saying. There are also 3 drawers, with 2 smaller ones on the sides and one below. Great for little hands. 4Excellent product AND excellent customer service!!!My daughter (5 yrs old) was so excited when she first opened this up Christmas morning, which quickly turned to extreme disappointment when the Unicorn did not turn and no music played. I promised her I would get in contact with Santa and see if his Elves could make her another one, and thankfully, the company did a great job when I reached out and sent out a replacement IMMEDIATELY! There was no wait time, it was shipped out the very next day, and my daughter is currently enjoying the replacement Santa sent us, she LOVES it!It is a very sturdy box, so I don't have to worry about her dropping it and destroying it. Actually, she has already dropped it like three times, and it has sustained no damage. The box itself is beautiful, and she loves the little drawers on the sides for keeping her many princess rings in. 5I wish the quality were betterThis is a very pretty little box, with fun things like small extra drawers and the unicorn figurine inside that spins when the music plays. The music box mechanism isn't great. I shut the lid after testing it out, but when I reopened the lid later, there was no music. I had to jiggle the unicorn figure a bit to get it to start up again. After testing it out several times, it seems best to let the song play itself out and *then* shut the lid, starting with a fresh wind-up the next time the box is opened. I have a number of musical boxes and this is the only one I have that is persnickety in this way, so it seems to be a quality issue. 4
