    Larger jars add functionalityThe jars are a little bigger than I had anticipated (about the size of a half dollar) and can be a challenge to open. The box is glass topped and the look is fantastic. Very nice for displaying my stuff and I ve taken advantage of the larger size to display actual lockers and locket faces. 4Looks good from the outside.It's a good product, as described by the seller, but it has that cheap texture when taking a closer look..The inner cases are cheap and filled with scratches.It has the 'I am made in china' glance . 3Foam silt gets on everything and is impossible to removeThe construction of the box and cases is fine and the larger containers were a great find for my planned project, its just the foam is total garbage. I don't know if my order had a step removed from the manufacturing process or something, but its disgusting and makes the product completely useless. On first arrival, I noticed the inside of the case was completely covered in very fine black fibers that rubbed off from the insert. I figured it may have just gotten jostled around during shipping so I washed it down with a dry and then wet cloth, let it dry and did this again until I was satisfied.I wanted to use this for older watch movements, so it was important to be moderately clean (it was the whole point of buying this case in the first place.. to protect the components from dust, silt and dirt).. but unfortunately every case and every insert has the same problem... the silt and fine fibers from the poorly manufactured foam comes off in very fine (and probably unhealthy) particles.. the static makes it attach to everything. I'll be sending an old watch component back to be cleaned again as I'm sure silt got inside the small nooks and crannies. My eyes are itching just writing this review.. Very disappointed. 1Excellent qualityThis is a great case--has individual plastic circles to store items--I used it to store mementos from our Europe trip. There is foam that holds the cases in place. I was really surprised with the quality--very nice for the price 5although the designers probably did not intend it to be customized---I sometimes cut the height of the foam inserts in the jarsI use this to display the larger stones in my mineral collection. It is very customizable, although the designers probably did not intend it to be customized---I sometimes cut the height of the foam inserts in the jars by half to be able to fit a stone better under the lid, for instance, and this works rather well. I also own the version with smaller jars and more spaces. It is sturdy enough for an immobile display, although I have never had occasion to test how it withstands transport. 5Nice display case. Great price.This is a good product at a great price. I use it to display the gold I find when I go prospecting. The clear glass top showcases each container inside similar to a museum display. The construction is solid but the locking clasp is slightly loose (wiggles sideways). This does not affect the overall function of the display or the ability for the case to close securely. I am very pleased and recommend this product. 5Really nice display case, or small object organizer.Received on time, well packaged, and exactly as described. This is an excellent case for display, or just to keep your small "things" organized and easily accessible. Buyers wanting this case for display purposes will be happy to know that the foam mat has a nice Black Velvet layer on top, both the surrounding mat and the inserts in the jars. Really makes "shiny objects" pop into view. Would highly recommend, Absolutely no complaints. 5Professional Impressive DisplayI bought 2 of these for beginning rock collections for my grandsons. I can tell you the sight of these cases has impressed their young minds that gem stones are very special they are really paying attention, not to mention they feel proud to have them.The cases are very nicely thought out having tightly fitting containers that do not come apart too easily holding items firmly. The black inserts can be cut down or hollowed out depending on what one wishes to store. Also, if some samples are too thick for the cases you can take the inserts hollow them and insert them without the container. The resulting display is impressive, and as I have said the grand boys are taking this seriously (had they simply gifted the rocks in a bag I m sure they d be over it already.)The cases came quite quickly and in perfect condition. Highly recommended A+ 5Loved it!This is just perfect for the small gemstones I have collected.
