Versatile, not bulky, but WARM!Great quality, versatile too.I bought this as a neck warmer for a cold bike ride in Upstate NY (30 degees!).Ok -- so the biking excursion I was a bust, and turned into a walk by the lake -- BUT thats when this neck warmer really came in handy. It was long enough to pull up to cover my mouth and nose while still keeping my neck covered and without slipping. It's also not bulky which is great. I ordered the black on black. It's a smooth fabric on outside and fleece on the inside. And you can't beat the price! Would definitely recommend. 5This 'neck warmer' is great. I bought one last yearThis 'neck warmer' is great. I bought one last year, couldn't find it anywhere it should have been in my house, so I had to buy it again. It's a must to keep chilly breezes, winds and just plain cold air from getting to you. It's doesn't appear to have elastic in it but it sort of stretches to fit over your head none the less, Comfortable in a loose sort of manner - not like a fitted turtle neck - but does the job. I highly recommend it 5GREAT FLEECE NECKWEAR, TO KEEP THE COLD AIR OUT OF YOUR LUNGS!I received this fleece neck covering, yesterday, and it worked great in the cold and windy weather conditions, this morning. It is approximately 9 inches tall, and so you can pull it up and over your mouth and nose, while it is still large enough to cover your neck at the same time. This covering is beneficial to me personally, because cold, winter air causes me to experience asthma, and having a covering over my mouth and nose is very helpful to me, in the cold wintertime. The fleece material is good quality and the neck covering is actually very lightweight and does not feel bulky when I am wearing it; it fits easily in your jacket pocket with your winter hat. Thank you very much for making such a great and useful product, because this works so much better for me than a scarf; I stopped wearing scarves, because they would always fall off my face or flap around in the windy conditions, and I am glad that I found your fleece neck covering, because I have been looking for this type of product, for years, and I am glad that I finally found your company via Amazon! This fleece neck covering stays in place, over my face, and it also works very well with (and partially underneath) the fleece hat that I already own. I am recommending this product to everyone who is active during the winter (not just those with asthma), since this neckwear will be very useful for skiers (downhill & cross-country) and snowboarders, too.Ben PS-- I hope that your company receives an avalanche of profits for making this great product!!!!! 5So far, so goodFull disclosure: I have only worn the neck warmer once, so this review is based on that one time.So, I purchased this item because I needed something to wear while running when it's too cold to go without something covering my ears, but warm enough that a full knit cap-style hat would be too hot. Therefore, I'm using it primarily as a headband-type product (I happen to think most products made as straight up headbands look kinda dorky on guys, hence why I went for something more sleeve-like). As I mentioned above, I have only worn it once (just received it a couple of days ago), but I absolutely loved it. It's a little long for a straight headband, so I wore it more like a sleeve on my head and just tucked down the extra material. It stayed in place during my ~4 mile run and kept my ears warm and toasty (it also did a great job of stopping sweat from running down my forehead into my eyes). The temperature was 30ish degrees F with a slight wind.I'll update if anything changes, but very satisfied with the purchase so far.5Wife loves it. Its warm and soft.My wife is a craft fair vendor on the weekends. She is outdoors a bit as the weather turns colder. She loves this neck warmer. I ordered three of these in different colors and the moment they arrived I opened the sky blue and was disappointed. I know I do have a big head but this was way too tight. Thinking I'd missed something on size I revisited the page but I hadn't so i decided and did try the navy and the black on. They were a much better fit. Well the next day we were hit with below zero temps and a blizzard, this was the exact reason I sought something like this. Previous years I'd fought with scarves trying to remove snow and did not see a full facemask as an option. I wore one as a headband under the hood of my coat and the other as a face cover while snowblowing, shoveling and my face stayed warm! Was protected from the high winds looking the sting my nose.This product was exactly what I needed before knowing it existed. The disappointment about the one color not fitting subsided. Thank you Anne and Laura, as the temps are again dropping and another band of snow approaches I know I am covered. 5Not Up To ParI had recently bought a Carhart neck gaiter to use for excercise in cold weather. I decided to purchase a 2nd neck gaiter for regular use. The Tough Headwear gaiter had decent reviews and was a daily deal, so I decided to give it a chance. Just received it, and I am not impressed. Seems cheap and poorly made compared to the Carhart. Note that this product has a number of reviews by people that had recieved it at a discount in return for their feedback...usually a warning sign. Returning this product today and buying another Carhart. 2nice and warm!oh yea. i love this!! 5Quality & ComfortI'm reviewing purely because I believe this is a great product. I was really impressed with the quality. The fit is so comfortable; cozy not too snug. It keeps the cold out perfectly but it's still easy to breathe through. I used it to cover my nose & mouth while running The Color Run 5k. There's a lot of colored powder & I didn't want to breathe it in while running. This blocked the powder 100% & I was able to breathe easy. The day of the 5k was a brisk 36 degrees outside. It kept my neck really warm which made the chill way more bearable. Great as a headband to cover ears & keep head warm too. Awesome product! Race wouldn't have been as enjoyable without it. 5Keeps my neck warm at 80mph in 40 degree weatherI purchased this for my 50 mile, daily 4am commute in 40 degree weather. Does a great job of keeping my neck warm. It s long enough to tuck the top in my helmet, and the bottom in the collar of my jacket. And thin enough to fold and store in my jacket pocket. 100% wind resistant. I live in drought land, so I haven t experienced rain yet, but I don t have any hopes of it being water proof. So far so good...5Just what the doctor ordered!!!Company great - super fast shipping and great packaging......Warmer great AND versatile! Got this for my husband who has COPD and CHF and is to cover face to protect heart and lungs from breathing in the cold air (here in NE Ohio we have plenty). This is so much easier to use than the masks that fasten around ears and is so soft - and can keep ears warm while keeping breath warm so as not to put stress on heart and lungs! Just what the doctor ordered!!! We are going to order several more - for us to share!! The only negative he mentioned is that his glasses fog when he wears it - so he does not wear them with with the warmer!Someone in my husbands cardiac rehab class liked it so much he asked where he got it - I sent in a listing I printed out from computer stapled to the card that the headband was wrapped around. We have ordred several more - one a reversible print for me - and when the weather gets cold again - I can't wait to try it out.
