    Its fairly comfortable and can be adjusted to to fit your level ...A lot of people have wondered if this is an authentic gelzone belt. As far as I know, it is. It arrived just the way it looks in the picture, with the gelzone logo and all. Its fairly comfortable and can be adjusted to to fit your level of compression. I'm giving it 4 stars because I did not use it long enough to test out the quality or effectiveness of the silicone. If you've had any sort of abdominal surgery, I would say try this belt. Anything that can help you recover faster and better is worth trying. 4Five Stars100% Satisfied 5Not the real thingI received the container that said Gelzone Belt, however when I opened it up it was not a gelzone belt. It was a generic look a like. I had to wind up ordering the real thing from another site other than amazon. 1Great purchase and cost effective.Sheeting can be very expensive over a long period of time to replace, so this sheeting filled the bill as l was able to cut into strips and use as needed. They also last really long especially if you take the time to wash and dry them carefully. I used dial antibacterial and it was still sticky (good thing) when it dried. 5I had a tummy tuckI love this product. I took it into my plastic surgeon and he said that this product speed up my healing. 5much more economical than other silicone sheetingThis Gelzone silicone sheeting worked well with an abdominal scar I had. The area that needed treatment was big enough that the small strips wouldn't work. Plus because it was on my abdomen, it moved a lot. This belt product worked well and allowed me to wrap it entirely around me. I also was able to cut a section off to use if I didn't want to wrap it all the way around.I don't know how much the silicone actually helped, but I know it didn't hurt. And my scar is nice and flexible. I think anything you can do to promote good healing is worth it. 4kinda thinI bought this item form my wife to help w/scar healing after her tummy tuck. It was a great price and I thought it would make a nice 'transitional' binder device after she was done using the post-surgical binder. She has been using it for the past 4 weeks (only at bedtime) and I do see some good scar healing; probably faster than it would without the silicone gel sheeting. The silicone sheet is very thin, and we noticed a couple of tears developing within the first few days of use. Now there are several large tears in the sheeting after one month use. Fortunately, the belt is wide enough that the actual scar is still covered by the silicone sheeting. I guess it will serve it's purpose, but I am a bit disappointed in the thin layering of the silicone. 3anyone getting a tummy tuck needs thisstarted wearing this at 2 1/2 week post.wear on skin then a huge silk grandma underwear then a compresstion grament.that how i wear it 24/7.helps you to move and feel better.help flat puck skin and smooth scar. 5No sure why!It riped really fast. 2Mixed feelings :( vs :)I had abdonminal surgery at the time 4 weeks post-op. I loved the compression and that this was not so bulky. By week 2 I had a rash and itched like crazy.I used some hydrocortisone and it went away after 2-3 days . I started usinging it again right after and broke out 3 days later. I would wear it all day at work 8 hrs. I'm not sure what made me break out but when I cut off a strip to put it on my scar and held it down with my medical binder or my underwear I never broke out. I may wear it now only if I'm wearing something a bit more form fitting. It stays in place and you never have to pull it up or down like the compression garments you get from the doc. 3
