Multi-Purpose Mitten ClipsI have used mitten clips in the past, when my kids were little. I actually bought these mitten clips for my senior Chihuahua, who has had a couple of accidents while visiting my son s family, with a new baby in the house. I think my Chihuahua may be jealous of the baby. So, when we visit, I ve been putting her in a diaper. The first time I tried, the diaper came off too easily. Now, I use these mitten clips, and secure the diaper to her harness. It works great, and we have no more accidents at my son s house. 5Work greatSo far, these have done a great job of keeping my 14-month-old's mittens on her jacket, whether or not the mittens are on her hands. They're a little long, but I think that means we can keep using them as she grows. Right now they're just clipped a little higher on the sleeves, which seems fine. 5Secured my mittens!Worked great! I got these to secure some expensive ski mittens to my jacket (can't believe they came without straps!) so I didn't have to worry as much if I took them off on the lift, or just entering the lodge. They were as strong as a few other reviewers described. At first I was nervous to trust them, but I tugged on them several times and they didn't budge. They also did not get in the way at all when I put on my mittens. 5Does what it's supposed to doWorks exactly as outlined. One side clips to the sleeve of the coat; the other side clips to the gloves. My kids put their coats and gloves on before we attached the clips, so that we could make sure everything was pointing in the right direction. It's helped with getting out the door in the morning, since we're no longer scurrying around looking for misplaced gloves. The kids just take off their gloves, leave them attached to the coat, and put them back on next morning.We haven't washed these yet or tried to re-attach after washing, so can't speak to that. 5So handyI'm an adult, and I know these are typically for kids, but after a snowy week spent going indoors and out, trying to shove my gloves in the (too small) pockets of my coat, I realized I needed a solution. These grip my gloves well, they are pretty low-profile, and now I always know where my gloves are. Helps my gloves dry too, as they aren't balled up in my pocket or bag. So handy. 5These really work!These did a great job of gripping kiddo's mittens through months of really rough play. Unfortunately, one broke at the end of the winter when I left it and the mitten attached when washing the coat, however, they made it through prior washes where I disconnected them beautifully. Highly recommend. 5My Favorite Mitten Retainers on Amazon (or Anywhere Else!)These were purchased for my youngest grandson after using mitten clips for my own children and grandchildren for many years. I ve found these to be the most secure holders that I have used. The clips open wide and close securely on all thicknesses of fabric and hold tight without damaging kids coats. The strap material is sturdy and comes in a rainbow of colors to match almost any coat. I purchased Navy Blue that perfectly matched my grandson s coat. The less expensive clips on Amazon result in lost mittens and damaged coats but I believe these are the best I ve found anywhere at any price. 5High quality, good productThis is the second set of mitten and glove clips that I have ordered because I lost one of the first set. I use these to secure my dog's belly wrap to his halter. The product is well made and looks great. It has metal teeth in the clasp, not plastic as some others have. My first set was used for about 6 months before I lost one and they were still closing firmly and holding tightly. I expect this set to last a long time also. 5Just what I was looking for!My kids were losing their gloves, so I got these to help with that problem. They seem to be working well! My sons coat I noticed the grip doesn't hold as strong as my daughters coat, so you may want to test them on what you have. They seemed to slip off his a little easier if I pulled hard enough, but I am still very happy with the purchase. 5Not just for kids!I am fostering a little male dog that had been found as a stray. I was advised to put a belly band on him and was glad I did because when I brought him home he ran around like a crazy little guy and marked everywhere. The belly band saved the day! However, it tended to slip off by itself or by him wiggling it off. Another foster mom suggested I get mitten clips and here I am to write about how successfully they work! And I might add I received them within the two-day Prime period.I've attached a photo. I clipped the mitten clips to his harness and the band. It might appear that they are a bit long (they are not adjustable). However, when he curls up and lies down, there is just the right amount of tension on them. He has tried to wiggle out of them, but cannot. Since he has been wearing these, the belly band has stayed on him. I wish he could appreciate the raised, embossed snowman on each clip. Very cute. 5
