    The adjustment slipsAt first I loved these and went back and bought more right away but as time goes by (and not really much time) i'm starting to be unsure of this love. The problem is while the clips themselves are no slip the same can't be said for the sliding metal adjusters for the bands. The adjusters have no teeth and keep slipping and making the suspenders very loose so I need to keep adjusting them. I may try putting some type of tack or device on the band to keep the adjustment buckle from passing it but some teeth or more pressure would have been better. 3They are easy to wear and comfortableI have been wearing suspenders for years, but this is the first time I've ever worn the style that clips to the side. I do a lot of wood work so I don't want my pants sliding when I have a 15 amp circular saw in my hand. The tools I use can be very unforgiving so concentration is extremely important. The quality of these suspenders is extraordinary. These suspenders are not going to unclip. They are easy to wear and comfortable. I gave this item four stars because I have to get use to the style. I have to admit the side clip is different than what I am use it. I've only had them for one week and I have been wearing them but I still have not gotten use to them. That is the only reason I rated them 4 stars and not 5. This is strictly subjective on my part and it has nothing to do with the quality of the product. This product is EXCELLENT! It is strong, durable, comfortable and by far the best suspenders I've ever worn. Do I recommend this product? Yes. I will be ordering some other suspenders from the small catalogue that was included in the order. These are worth every penny and they work!!!!!! Go for it!!!!! 4Nice, Very NiceI carry a gun and magazines on my heavy duty gun belt. I was forced to keep the belt very tight to keep my pants up amd support the weight. These suspenders work great in supporting part of the load so I can loosen the belt. I can adjust them on the fly to carry more or less weight. Then shortly after receiving them the length adjuster on one side fell apart. I'm sure it was after the 30 day guarantee was over and it might have been my fault,Now another set of suspenders has had the same problem. I got in touch with a friend who had used the same type of Holdup Suspenders and he told me the same thing had happened to him.It's been a year and a half since I purchased the suspenders but I called the company to see if I could buy replacement length adjusters. The person that answered my call was about as helpful a block of wood. I would hope that she was just the answering service and not an employee of the company.Until they either change the design of the length adjuster and, or at least have more helpful people taking calls, I will not be buying or recommending their products. 2Okay suspendersThese were good at first, but the elastic is now is now stretching out and not holding their shape. I started out with the sliders at between my chest and stomach. After about a month I have been moving them up to accommodate the stretch. The sliders are now at the top of my shoulders and heading for my back. Also the metal piece between the lower part that snaps to the pants and the top is vertical instead of horizontal because the material is not holding it's shape. I'm a big guy and got the heavy duty suspenders, guess they are not heavy duty enough. I plan to get better quality elastic and remake the suspenders using the existing metal parts. Will have to get a couple of pieces for attaching the new elastic to the piece coming from the crosspiece in the back. 3Good quality ....But...........Quality is excellent and performs it's intended function wellMy one complaint is that for a short person ( 5' 7") I had to adjust the clips WWWayyy up to get the height of my jeans correct, and at that point the 2 " metal adjuster clips rub on my clavicles some what uncomfortably................I may cut them and resew to make the adjustment better.....But I shouldn't have to do that on a $25 pair of suspenders.So unless I got the "Tall" version by mistake (not labeled as such in any way).The makers should also make a version for shorter persons too. 3Best Suspenders a trucker could ask for hands down.As a trucker I can appreciate a well made product for guys who need a more unique style of product due to my career. I am 25 and about 380 6 foot 6 and wearing a belt is just downright painful when sitting for 11 hours of driving a day. Suspenders were my saving grace but I always had to deal with them slipping or flipping to unlock when they would snag on something as I got into my truck. These do not snag or slip at all... there is a needle that holds onto the fabric ( hasnt ruined my Jean's or shorts and no noticable hole marks) and I've yet to have a single snag. Slip, or unlock. Simply put I have found a brand that I'll only buy from. These guys know what they are doing and sell an awesome, superior product. If you're on the fence about buying like I was please give them a shot. I'm proud to wear their suspenders and I will be buying more. 5GREAT IDEA. Works just fine, Bought 2 more pair !!!GREAT IDEA. Works just fine, a bit too stiff though right out of the box. Good quality should last for years. Clip to hold pants is very heavy duty.I've been wearing a pair of them that I bought here on Amazon myself, for about two months now. They loosened up nicely, just as I thought they would with normal use. I'm buying 2 more colors today, as I like them so much. If you are "full figured" as they say, (I'm 6'2" & 230 lbs.), the light duty garbage that you can find in local stores, really are really useless. These however work !!! The clips stays connected to your pants without any problem. I carry a .38 pocket pistol all the times. It was weighing my pants down a bit too much. I almost lost it a few times. These SOLVED the problem 100%. JJM 5By far the best side grip suspenders ever!I have tried several name brands of this style of suspenders. Nobody makes a better pair, the straps are the heaviest I've worn, the length adjustment clips are heavy duty and stay in place, and the side clips are better than any out there. I wear a pair of heavy duty carharts with the pockets full, 25' tape, hammer, screw gun! There s no comparison! I only wish they made a pair with button ends. 5Best for very short time wearing for casual eventSuspenders were wider than what you expect for 2 inches even after looking at a roller and they were very stiff and of course at the edges and the adjustable buckle being in the front the way it was forced you to move the Clips more to 3/4 of the way around you in order not to have the clip dig into your under arm area when using your arms and my husband did not find that the clips stayed attached well while he was trying them on he did various different positions that he would do Well using them on the job mind you he was in the living room doing this not at the job and they would come on clipped and they would dig in and leave marks even though he was wearing a tank top T-shirt underneath his regular shirt with the suspenders between the shirts 1
