Overpriced Considering the Quality$25 dollars maybe would be a good price point for these braces. $20 dollars would be a fair introductory offer price. The back strap is not adjustable, so I had to tighten the front buckle straps all the way. I'm 5'8" and weigh 220, but these braces were a little bit long. Had the back elastic strap been adjustable, they would have fit well. The clips work fine but $72 bucks is just way too much to pay for galluses that aren't absolutely perfect. 1Five Starsbeautiful and comfortable to recommend it to everyone. 5Overpriced, poor craftsmanship and the company doesn't stand behind their product RIPPED OFFAfter a month, the leather started cracking in several places. Also, the stitches to sew the patch on the back are so close together that they act like perforations and they TORE the belt leather at the location of the patch. This an expensive, poorly designed product. Be careful, too, to buy them on Amazon -- HoldUp makes you pay 'through the nose' for shipping both ways -- even on returns. When I tried to return them and wrote them a letter asking for a replacement of an alternative HoldUp product, Customer Service ignored my request and simply sent me a replacement of this poor product. Customer service is NOT helpful at all. Now I'm stuck with a replacement that I know won't last long. BTW, I bought some braided leather suspenders, too, and they cracked and tore quickly as well. 1Darker than pictured, but I love it more.I got the brown, however, it came to me in more of a brown-black color. It looks much better in person, than in the photos. I actually like the brown-black better than the brown, (as pictured). It's strong and durable, (so far), and does the job. If you're not used to wearing suspenders, you might get sore, but you'll get used to it. 5Five StarsNice old loocking 5Didn't last one minute.I tried these on for the first time, rocked from side to side to get a feel for them, and the leather snapped right above one of the clamps. Sorry for the potato photos, but as you can see from them, around the rivets there is only about a centimeter of very thin leather. And if you bend the right way, the entire weight of your trousers is could be pulling against this thin, narrow crappy leather.So I thought I could fix a major design flaw with these suspenders. I replaced the mini-clamps with some heavy-duty ones and reinforced the leather at the clamp. I tried them on. Bent from side to side again. Bent over to tough my toes, and then the leather snapped in the back. As you can see from the photos, the leather is some kind of cheap junk laminated together.I paid $65 for these and they didn't even last one full minute. Absolute trash. 1Pants UpJust got my set and so far, so good. They are comfortably and don't weigh down on my shoulders. Finally I can keep my pants up.... 5Black on brown???Like the brown color, but why put Black leather transition pieces between clips and straps. Expected more from Hold-ups. Hence only 3 stars. 3
