    Don't order steel toes online I ordered the XL they were too large so I returned them and ordered the L they are too small. At any rate. These are cheaply made. Just pulling them on, the rubber started to peel away from the steel toe. The steel toe on the left shoe is pointed in to the right slightly making it fairly comfortable. But the right shoe has the same angle making it very uncomfortable. I can only assume these shoes are being carelessly slapped together in an assembly line. It's too bad they didn't take just a moment to place the toes correctly. I can't continue to order and return these shoes indefinitely. I've lost work over waiting on them already. Unfortunately I'm stuck with a pair of shoes that are very uncomfortable and Im going to have to wear them until I find a new solution. 1Doesn't fit casual/sneakers well Note: these fit well only depending on the type of shoe you have. I have two types of shoes--tennis/casual shoes where the sole is even with the front of the shoe, and work and dress shoes where the sole is about 1/2 in larger all around to stich the leather to the sole. I wear a 10 normally and my size 10 casual/tennis shoes don't fit--the cover is way too loose. However with my work shoes they fit very tightly. If I'm in an environment that needs toe protection I need to remember to wear a larger shoe/boot. 3Better than having to wear heavy uncomfortable steel toe shoes every day. First off, I will say I'm a woman who wears a size 8.5 shoe. I own a few different pairs of under amour running shoes, 4 of which I've worn these over. Of those 4, 3 fit no problem. They fit a bit loose on the 4th, however, this is easily fixed by folding some paper towels behind the heal. I would not recommend buying these if you are trying to wear them over a women's dress shoe. However, if you are required to wear steel toe shoes, and find them all to be uncomfortable and heavy, these are a good alternative as you can wear your own comfortable sports shoes and slip these over top. The only disadvantage is that they are coming apart where the rubber meets the metal on the bottoms after only a few months, but I've been wearing them 40+hrs per week since purchasing. And they are still plenty wearable how they are. 4Work Great But Not for All Day Use Everyday These work great with my tennis shoes, just had to add some padding in-between my shoe and the metal part. Once I did that my feet were in heaven. I work all day on my feet and steel toed boots left my feet aching. My only complaint is that the bottom is already starting to come apart. I am thinking they are not meant for all day use everyday.I wear a size 9 1/2 in men's tennis shoes and I got the yellow ones and they fit my shoes good (besides adding the padding in). I did purchase the red ones at first but they were too big. 3Had to return Nothing wrong with them. Had to return to get a bigger size. I wear a size 9 in women's and I thought the 8/9 w would work but they were to small. I struggled to get them on and I couldn't get them more than halfway on my shoe. I can only wear one specific shoe so I had no other option to try it on different ones to see if it would fit. The next size up fit well but a little loose in the middle. Hardly noticable when walking. 2Fits regular shoes perfect Fits my puma shoes perfect and those are a size 10.5 the turbotoe is a size medium. Arrived on time as expected. Colors and size and details all match the picture shown. If you have issues wearing regular steel toe shoes/boots these would be the best option to go too. I love these slip one over my regular shoes at work my feet never hurts anymore, they stay comfy and pain free. I would recommend these to anyone. 5Perfect Got these to modify my daily boots after I tried to make it work with a cheap pair of steel toes. They got me through several long days on my feet doing stage crew work in all kinds of conditions. I felt so much safer wearing these than I did with the cheap boots - honestly, if you re on a budget (like me), I would suggest getting these instead and saving up for a really good pair of steel toe boots. Definitely keep in mind that they re not meant for long-term daily use, and do your research on sizing before purchase, but if you ve got the right size, they ll be perfect until you can get your ideal boots. 5Finally, no foot pain at work!! After many years of struggling to find a steel toe shoe that was comfortable for my extra wide, high instep foot, I started buying these three years ago. Best move yet!My little toe on each foot had actually become deformed from being pinched under the toe beside it and I was in pain at work. Believe me, I had tried every type of wide steel toe that the shoe truck which serves my company offered. No matter how much they assured me, "This is our most comfortable shoe", within a couple of weeks my little toe would start hurting. It took a couple of months wearing these covers over my running shoes for my toes to return to normal, but now I can walk in comfort at work for 9 hours straight. I used to drive into the city and get them from an industrial supply house, but Amazon had a better price and I received them in two days.The only negative is their weight, but I'll take that over the pain anytime. A pair usually last between 9 months to a year, but I work a lot of overtime. For your first pair, I would suggest buying from a store so you can check the fit over the shoes you plan to use them on. 5runs small I had to return this product because it was too small. I have since ordered the next size up, I wear a size 10. It would be nice if they used a different method to size overshoes. from the looks of it it seems to be a good product and the only reason I gave it 3 stars is the sizing (and I was unable to wear them). I will adjust this review if need be when the XL comes in.One other thing I should mention, There is a pronounced heel in these overshoes. It's obvious to me now but wasn't as obvious when I initially ordered them. The heel will work on my boots, but on flat shoes it may cause a problem. I will have to look for another type to wear with my other shoes because of this.UPDATE: I have received the TTUXL and the fit is much better 3Great product This is a great product. I have some sort of "itis" that flares up in my right foot and ankle area within an hour of wearing steel toed boots and STB's are required dress code where I work. As soon as I get home and take off the boots, my "itis" would disappear. Definitely a connection and then one day my boss shows up wearing a pair of these over nice comfortable sneakers. I now wear a pair over my nice comfortable walking shoes that I would not be able to wear to work if I weren't wearing the Impacto Turbotoe Cap. More people are now coming up to me at work and inquiring the "3 W's' about this product and plan to purchase a pair to get out of wearing uncomfortable boots all day. There are two things I would recommend first before you purchase. 1.) Make sure your company will allow this product to be a substitute for a boot. Check with your HR Dept. as some companies my not allow this product to be worn unless you are only a temporary visitor to the production floor. 2.) Have a can of spray paint ready! For some reason a crazy color code is in place to match certain sizes and none of them are black, which goes with everything, right? My boss says he feels like he is wearing Bozo's shoes because he is wearing white sneakers with color code red tipped steel toes and it would be nice if he sprayed the tips white so he wouldn't feel so self conscious! I wear black walking shoes and my size color code is orange, but I spray painted the tips (the surrounding pull over rubber other than the toe tips is black no matter what size you need) black so the whole product blends in well. Some don't notice I'm not wearing at least a steel toed shoe if not a boot. Of course, the spray paint suggestion is a personal choice. The surrounding rubber is tough and at first is a challenge to slip over the shoes you are putting them on, but after the third time wearing or so the rubber has been broken in and it is easy to slip over your footwear. Great product to buy if you have foot problems and are required to wear STB's at work, or if you just want to feel comfortable all day in your favorite shoes. 5
