Looks Great, be careful of the less expensive versionI set out looking for a good looking watch to wear on weekends. I had seen Invicta watches on the shopping channels and always liked the Speedway series. I set out to purchase one and soon realized there are less expensive versions of this watch advertised using the photo of the #7027. So I was very careful to make sure the model number of the picture matched the model number on the price tag. Amazon was the only place I found that it matched at a great price. I see the price of this watch has increased since I bought mine (I paid 189.00). This watch has surpassed my expectations. I have gotton several compliments on it and it really is stylish. One thing though, the picture shows it as being a blue face, but in reality it is more purple than blue. It does transition from Blue to Purple, but is is not primarily blue, which is why I gave it four stars. 4Warning: Not item advertised or describedUsing the reviews on this item I decided to purchase one for myself and this one for my son ( see similar review of other Invicta purchase ). However, we did not receive the item as described or displayed, but instead received a watch of lesser quality and price. The watch did not come with the following important features: 1). Precise and high-quality Swiss-quartz movement or 2). Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal....What we did receive was instead what appears to be the Invicta Men's 9329/1 Speedway Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Watch which has several less desirable features including 1.) Precise Japanese-quartz movement and 2.) Durable mineral crystal.I will not be using this seller again and am disappointed that an amazon prime seller would not present items accurately. 2He absolutely loved it!Bought this watch as a Christmas gift for my husband because he needed one with a scratch resistant glass. The color on the dial is a very rich violet blue. The watch has a substantial weight to it and sits well on his wrist. Still happy with the watch. 4Invicta The BestThe Best Watch, Good Quality, Fast shipping 5and I may end up keeping it but with some disappointment.The watch they sent me arrived quickly and is an attractive watch. It is, however, not the watch pictured or described here.The back of the case does list it as a 7027 and the watch face is blue and does say "professional 200m speedway". However, this is where the similarities end.The dial window is not sapphire as advertised but flame fusion crystal. The sub-dials are solid blue, without the metallic edges pictured. It displays 24 hour time at the three o'clock position, and has two chronos rather than the three advertised -- a 60 second chrono at the six, and a 60 minute chrono at the nine o'clock position. The sub-dials are pushed out to the edge of the face so there is no marker at 3, 6, and 9 as shown. The date window is sandwiched between the 4 and 5 position and feels somewhat cramped.That being said, it does match the description and pictures of the 7027 professional speedway on many other websites, so it appears that the model number is the only thing advertised correctly. As I said, this is an attractive watch, and I may end up keeping it but with some disappointment. 3
