This is the most super cute Halloween costume I found this year for my son. Yes, yes my son is almost 2yrs and 5 months old, but he is still wearing 12 mos pants and a 18 month shirt but those are getting short (not small, just short)...So by now you are getting the gist of just how small my minion really is...I ordered the 2T..even after reading the reviews about how small it is, I figured ohhh it will fit my little one because he is really in 12 month pants and even they are too big around the waist. NO, No I was absolutely wrong. I tried to put it on him last night and it was a hot mess. I got it over one shoulder, but the 2nd shoulder wasn't going in with out a chainsaw and some extra fabric. He cried, I cried and sadly put the outfit back in the bag and printed out the return order form. Oh and the hat you might want to put some cardboard in it to keep it up...I think some others said that, but the picture of the cute little top hat looks more like a black pancake. On the plus side Amazon makes it super easy to return something! 1The cutest spider costume ever!I bought this for my 4-year old son this past Halloween (2006) and he looked adorable. Of course I'm biased since I'm his mother, but we did get several comments on how cute he looked. It's relatively lightweight, but if you live in a warmish climate like we do, it's perfect. It seems to run a little on the large side so it would work well in a cooler climate too over mid-weight clothing.Overall, I give it 5 stars. We loved it! 5SmallSmall and my child is not very big. Don't by if you child is 3...or bye and have a set of black pants so their not high waters. 3VERY, very small!My 2 1/2 year old is only 25 lbs and in the 10th percentile ... he doesn't wear any 2T clothes because they are all way too big! BUT... this costume was way too snug. There wasn't enough length in the trunk - causing a pretty uncomfortable fit. It also wouldn't velcro in the back... all he had on underneath was a onesie!So... definitely buy up a size. We went back and bought the 3T and are looking forward to trying that on. My toddler is on the small side so I was prepared for it to be a little big, but this costume was so snug it was not comfortable for him when I tried to latch the back velcro together.
