    Bright blue color , soft to touch and great fit.This is a great shirt, either for casual wearing or for work. It fits well. The color is vibrant as I was hoping. I did wash and put it in the dryer so it could shrink a little since it s a little bigger than I thought it would be. Back in the day you were nobody without Izod shirts and a members only jacket, This bastardized shirt does not coordinate with the classic look we all know and love. Back in high school I had a friend who's mom would buy the Izod socks just for the little alligators (they were cheap). She would take the embroidered carnivores and sew them on a cheap polo type shirt and voila: instant ersatz Izod shirt. I miss the good old days. Bring back the gator. 5Shrinks!!Beautiful shirt, fits somewhat small and even smaller after washing. Have worn and washed this shirt twice, cold water both times. First time, hung to dry...turned out ok with minimal shrinking. Second time, decided to put into dryer on low setting...considerable shrinkage. Quite disappointed! 1Too long in the torsoIt is too long in the torso to leave untucked, which is the way I wear Polo shirts. It actually fits well in the sleeve length and chest area. But it hangs below your inseam on your paints. 2Single Digit AgeSince my age was single digit, I have been wearing Chemise Lacoste polo shirts. Today, I am 70 years old and I still dress elegantly as I did in those early days of my life; but $80.00 Chemise Lacoste are not for me any longer.IZOD came into the picture with Advantage Performance Polo Shirts that do not have the details of finesse and elegance that original Chemise Lacoste Polo Shirts have always had. Today's IZOD Polo Shirts are made out of quality material, the collar does not roll, and Hindu workmanship remains top notch.The bottom line is that for the price, IZOD Advantage Performance Polo Shirts are a very good deal that deserve 5 Stars. I gave them 4 Stars because the neck is for a man with a huge neck, and I did not like that feature.If touches of finesse and elegance is not in your agenda ~and nothing is wrong with simplicity~ you will not regret ordering one or two of these otherwise splendid polo shirts for a reasonable price. 4Five StarsWonderful Grest shirts. Reordered two more 5Why so long?!Seems like a good golf shirt but it's wayyy too long. It's comically long. I'm 5'7 and this shirt goes well past my rear. I get that it's probably meant to be tucked it so it's super long. but, I'm not a tuck kinda guy so this shirts gettin returned. 2Great fit, great material, shitty collarI like the quality of the fabric. Gives a nice look while wearing it. Material is thicker so you don t get that super thin tight fitting material as with some other polos. I prefer the thicker material for a better look. The only issue I have is how damn large the collar is. Cmon Izod!! Fix the collar! 4Nice poloI'm a big fan of these shirts. They fit as expected, are comfortable, and don't have collars that roll or flatten out. Colors are as shown online. I have bought 3 different colors and have yet to be disappointed. 4Favorite shirt but...As someone who lives and dies by the polo, I found the IZOD Advantage Performance polo to be THE shirt to buy when you're looking for the best bang for your buck. The material is a little heavy if you're a golfer (of which I am not) but perfectly suited for offices and dinners. So this shirt meets a lot of criteria and that is reflected in my order history which shows that I have ordered seven (7) of these in the past three years.The Good:Athletic cut, perfect length sleeves and the material slowly retains its shape so it never really stretches out during normal wear and tear. The color holds up extremely well under heavy washing schedules as in my climate (Southern USA), you can't wear a shirt more than once without washing. Also, there is very little shrinking that occurs so you can be reasonably assured that if you accidentally dry on high heat, you won't see too much of an effect.The Bad:As a guy that is into fitness, the bands around the biceps tends to begin unraveling at the seams under the arm where they intersect with the band after a period of a year or so. You will develop holes there. Additionally the last three shirts I ordered were almost embarrassingly tight compared to the ones I ordered prior to that. XL seems to be hit and miss now. I maintain a consistent body weight (like pretty much everyone) so it wasn't me growing or gaining weight.In the end, if I do order these shirts again I will order XL but will return for XXL if they don't fit. 3
