Customer Reviews

I love it. It's easy to get onSo, I have 5 boys. two 5 year olds, a 3 yr old, a 2 yr old, and a 1 yr old. My floors are always a mess after meals. But the kids clothes stay clean with this bib. I had my doubts, only ordered one. I love it. It's easy to get on, the fabric is soft for those with sensory issues. Like a very soft baby washcloth. I've washed it 3 times now and it's holding up very well so far. It hasn't gotten stretched out, even the color is still bright. It fits my 1, 2, and 3 yr old just fine. Maybe on the 3 yr old the sleeves are a tiny bit short, but not enough to inhibit my using it. Does the job. Very very satisfied and I will be buying more. 5Works well, can't beat the price. My 16 month old had been ripping off his bibs for months, and I spent most of his nap times soaking out food stains on his clothes. Can't believe I waited so long to get a smock bib! I ordered this one as well as the bumkins bin that ties in the back. This one is great: the terry cloth material allows liquids to soak in some rather than just roll off it (like the bumkin,) but the inside is lined with a soft water resistant material. Nothing has leaked through it thus far. My baby is pretty tiny for his age, but even so, I haven't had problems with food falling through the neck hole (as I saw in other reviews.) A bib under the smock could help if this is a concern. I also haven't had a problem getting the smock over his head and off, even if it's dirty. I just wipe off big food chunks before lifting it over his head, and we've had no problems. Overall it's soft, works well, and a good price. Worth a try if you are looking for a cloth smock option. My only suggest pertains to the length. We haven't had problems with it yet, but I could see why you might want the front to drape down further over the legs. As for now, the length is good and covers some of his lap. 5Best of all coverall bibsWe have tried out a couple different brands of coverall bibs, for our extremely messy eater, and this one is the best. It is the most expensive too, but worth it. The ones that are more like paint smocks tend to bunch up, and liquids run right off into her lap, and she gets sweaty on humid days, but this just absorbs whatever is being dribbled. There are not many styles, but it is not being worn for fashion! the only thing it needs is a pocket on the front, so that when travelling and feeding without a tray, we can catch some of the scraps before they hit the floor. At the moment, we just add a pelican bib to the ensemble. I have saved many outfits from spaghetti sauce and watermelon stains. Thank you! 4The best bib for messy eating!!Such a fantastic bib!! Purchased the larger size for my 19 pound 7 month old and fits great with the sleeves rolled up just a tiny bit. Happy this will last for many more months! Works amazing - love it for feeding messy foods to my little one (berries, oatmeal etc). We've had this for several months and I wish all my bibs were this handy! No mess on baby. Care does have to be taken when removing from baby to ensure you don't smear everything on their face (I've done this more than once!). We do baby led weaning which leads to very messy eating and this couldn't work any better! Washes up great in the washing machine too! 5I thought this was a good idea at first with the turtleneck style so the ...I thought this was a good idea at first with the turtleneck style so the food doesn t get inside . However, the material stretches out a lot and it leaves a large gap and all the food gets inside. When I try to remove it , it s a big mess. Had to return it, too bad. Maybe my son is on the tiny side, and the neck area fits really loose in him. He is 15 Months and weight about 18lb. But the sleeve length is great, I don t know how it can fit up to 36 Months though . 3not convenient as a single bib for daily usePros:-cuffs and collar are great especially for watery food such as watermelons-fabric is great too coz my baby can't stand the plastic bibsCons:-required washing after each meal - so you might end up needing more bibs for each meal-some stains are hard to get out even after washing (especially bananas stains if not cleaned immediately)**Would not recommend it as single bib, either by 3 from same style or any different style.**my baby is 18 months. 3Does its job better than any bib. Baby cannot easily pull it off. This bib definitely protects clothing. It is also the only bib my baby can not pull off. The cuffs fit nice and snug so food doesn't go down the sleeves. It is a great bib. The only problem is - you need to own several and they are pretty expensive. Since you can't wipe it down - it must go in the wash after each use. If you forget to put it in the wash it gets mildewy pretty quick. Despite this - if I had the money - I'd buy 10. 4Fantastic BibThis bib is fantastic. I've used other long sleeve versions that are made from that thin plastic material, and while yes, they clean up really easily, they're still really messy while the baby's eating because the food doesn't soak into it, it just sits there, waiting to be rubbed on baby's face, in mommy's hair or on the table/chair. This bib has a terry cloth cover that works like a bib and a napkin, but the backside of the front still has that water resistant plastic layer so things won't go all the way through to baby's clothes. It's brilliant.Getting it of without getting the food all over baby was easy once I figured it out - put a hand under the back panel, reach through the neck opening and flip the bib over baby's head, then take arms out. That way, the messiest part in the front never touches baby's head/hair when you take it off.As for sizing, the 6+ month size fits my 5 1/2 month old well. It's a little loose around the neck and the arms are a good length, and while it covers well even now, it's loose enough that it seems like it will fit for a few more months. 5Good bib, but didn't work for us.We bought these for our 1 year old because she kept taking her regular style bibs off. No matter what we tried...bibs that snapped in the back, pull over the head ones, everything. Bought two of these and the first night, she tried to take it off but couldn't. The second night and every night after, she managed to get it off and throw it on the floor. The actual bib was nice, but it just didn't work for what we were hoping. 3Soft and waterproof at the same time - side coverage lackingI bought this for my one year daughter so I could let her self feed more messy foods without going through as many outfits in a day. I like that it is soft and not plasticy like many waterproof bibs. The pull over design works great for us and has excellent coverage around the neck. No food falling down the neckline as of yet. The pull over will mess up your kids hairstyle though. It's like putting on a turtle neck.We have the green and also bought the blue which I'm debating on keeping. Might want more than one but see below for my reservations. The color is as it appeared on my monitor a very clean bright wasabi-like green with very light gray cuffs. The cuffs are awesome and soft and the water proof lining (only down the front and not lining the sleeves) is also soft. Basically seems like a thin white layer of anti-absorbent polyester fabric or something. Seems like it would be cooler than similar bibs. I ordered a bunch of different ones and this seems like the winner so far. Many of the others where either fleece and a wind breaker like material or straight up plastic or polyester. Thin terry with soft cuffs wins in my mind. The main issue I have with it is the way the sleeves are sewn to the side to the make the whole thing a T shape. This makes it so that there is a small gap by the sides when it is worn as the childs arms are usually down and not straight out. I'm thinking of adding a snap right in the pit area so that I can snap it to the back to close the gap and not worry about resituating the bib during the meal. I actually wish it was more of a smock type design for better side coverage but it's not bad. I also ordered the eat and play smock from Bjorn but it just felt so plasticy and was pretty big too. So this is what we've got for now. Comes down to my one year olds knees. She is 60th percentile in height at the moment. All in all 4 stars because everything is great but the side coverage. 4
