Should Have Known..My 5 year old was Elsa last Halloween (2015). My husband paid $30 for that dress. It lasted nearly a year before giving its final gasp of life. So, I wanted to be thrifty but wanted a pretty dress for my little Elsa lover. We received this dress on July 31, today (August 4), I noticed the hem is frayed and the stitching about the waist is falling apart. Highly unusual as the hem is not stepped on (falls above her ankles) and is not tight. One of the snowflake rhinestones fell off. The fabric is cheap, the stitching is not sound. I should have known better and purchase a more expensive dress. Which I will do as soon this one completely falls apart (shouldn't take but another 2-3 days). I gave this dress 2 stars because it really is a beautiful dress. 2Don t purchase this.I don t usually leave a review but this was not a good purchase. This dress up costume was bought as a gift for my daughter and as you can see it was well loved so we wanted to get her a new one and a bigger size. This is the third one we ve tried. The 110, 120 and 130 are all the same length. On the original one the diamond snowflake was glued on the costume. This one is a sticky appliqu and it came with a piece of plastic over it and the edges are all sticky and it s already coming off. Very disappointed and will be returning this and will try to find a different distributor. 1snowflake rhinestones scattered and missingRight out of the package I noticed that some of the large rhinestones on the snowflake were missing and with further inspection I realized that they were all misplaced on the snowflake. As I started to submit my return on Amazon I found a package of the rhinestones in the box so I thought " they must have sticky backs on them to adhere to the dress", boy was I sadly mistaken. Why in the world would they send the rhinestones in a bag with the majority of them out of place on the dress itself? To top it off I had my three-year-old daughter nearby when I announced "your Elsa dress came in" only to tell her that I have to return it. Very upsetting especially since I followed the majority of the Amazon reviews which were five stars. 1beautiful Elsa dress, perfect for our Frozen party and for dress-up!This dress was purchased for my daughter to wear at her 4th Frozen themed birthday party. She is a TALL 4 year old and this dress fit absolutely perfectly. She loves it. She looked great for the party and we also use it for dress-up now. I don't plan on putting it in the wash becuz I don't wash her dress-up outfits (she literally wears them for about 20 min. then takes them off, each time) but I imagine the snowflake decal would come off in wash. So if I had to wash it due to a stain, I'd probably just hand-wash. I would recommend if you are looking for a unique and beautiful Elsa dress! (there were MANY Elsa dressed girls at the party and my little Elsa had the only dress like this!) 5A well loved dress, but could have been made of higher quality materialsMy 2 year old loves the long train on the back. She loves to look behind her at her cape dragging on the floor and even carries toys around on it. She's been so rough with it, unfortunately, that the tulle cape has already a bit ripped near the shoulder in her first two days of wearing it, but I think I can fix it. A tougher fabric like organza would have been better, but it should hold up well with an older child or more gentle toddler The jewels that make the snowflake design on the front were just stuck on with adhesive, and my daughter quickly learned how to peel them off. They probably would have come off in the first washing. My daughter is very small for a 2 year old, and the dress fits her decently with room to grow. She loves it. 4Beautiful dress even in the quality isn t the bestYeah the dress quality is obviously not the best. But I m still giving four stars because it looks beautiful, and if it s just for a dress up chest at home, it s okay that the quality is so-so.If we needed an Elsa costume for a birthday party or because it was our daughter s absolute favorite princess then we would have spent more to get a better quality dress. Our daughter really likes this one, and for me most importantly there are no itchy spots- with many princess dresses the stitchinh and embellishments are itchy and not properly thoughtout and they become unwearable. I really appreciated that it was comfortable as well as lovely. 4Beautiful but delicateWe have the Anna dress from the same company, and it's a little more durable. Two of the diamonds from the snowflake pattern on the chest fell off the first day, but the rest have held up so far. The sleeves are made from a very thin material. It hasn't ripped, but I'm afraid it's just a matter of time. You might want to go up a size. I ordered the 3-4 for my petite 3 year old, and it fits her a bit snug. The Anna dress we ordered a size smaller and it's much roomier.The dress really is beautiful. My daughter loves it, especially the train. 4Super Cute!Very VERY soft and elegant little dress. I have an Elsa fan and she wore this allll day on her birthday and wouldn t take it off. I was going to buy the Disney dress that was twice the price BUT it was hard and scratchy which is a no go with my little one 5Much loved but Snowflake issues.They 5-year-old sweet niece went BATTY over this dress when she opened. She immediately knew it was a "Frozen" dress and had to put it on immediately. HOWEVER, she and I were both disappointed that the snowflake rhinestones immediately began falling off. So now I have a project on my hands of fixing the snowflake. Not happy. She was distressed and that further made me not happy. Also be aware the "cape" is much longer than the dress. I promptly snipped it off before she ever opened it so it wouldn't hang below her dress and become a trip hazard or rip to pieces. BOTTOM LINE: She loves it. I just wish if you aren't going to make an accessory worth a flip, just leave it off all together. :) 4Your child will love itThis is one of the better looking Elsa dress designs. It's not too flashy or bulky. My daughter obviously loved it and wanted to wear it daily. The material is thin but for the price I wouldn't expect much more. The dress arrived with a broken zipper and that is the reason for the low rating. It was also difficult to identify how to contact the company by phone or email another factor in the rating. There is a hole in the train after the second day wearing it which is to be expected bc the little one will never want to take it off; that is of no fault to the company. Thanks for supplying something my little one adores. 2
