Since Goldtoe started using all sorts of anti-bacterial additives, plasticizers and fabric softening agents to their cotton dress socks, I was looking for a good alternative without those additives. I still haven't found a well-fitting cotton dress sock without additives. These Maggie's Organics don't seem to have the additives, but they're way too small. My feet aren't huge - ~10.5 - but these socks would be far too snug on somebody with a size 9. I've worn them for a few months now and have tried everything to stretch them out, but when I get home from work I can't wait to take them off. If they ever make an accurately-sized cotton sock, I might give them another try... 1
