Customer Reviews

I also bought a size up. My daughter wears a 2t but decided after reading reviews to buy 3t which fit her well with plenty of room for growth. In addition, unlike other reusable diapers these did Not leave a rash on inner legs. 5Great fitOur potty-trained kiddo is required to wear a swim diaper in lessons, and the fit of the iPlay brand was just not working. I was thrilled to find My Pool Pal as an alternative. The cut is similar to a traditional swimsuit, and fits FAR better onto our preschooler's frame. For reference, kiddo wears 100 or 110 at Hanna, and a 4T or 5T in most brands. 5Satisfies the pool and eliminates disposables.I bought these (size 3) for my 2.5 year old. He is a little big for his age and they fit great. They meet the requirements of the pool and I don't have to throw away disposable swim diapers all of the time. One warning though, they are not absorbent. When my little one pees, it runs down his leg as if he were wearing regular underwear so I guess they don't keep pee out of the pool. The elastic around the waist and legs is pretty tight so I'm guessing this would keep anything solid from leaking out. I would say that this swim diaper paid for itself in about a week since we are at the pool a lot this summer. 4Not what we expected but cuteSo we bought this thinking no more little swimmers diapers but when my daughter peed it leaked right out. Doesn t hold liquid. 3Does the job but runs SUPER smallMy little one looks like a super hero/olympic swimmer in these. He's a healthy-size 18 month old and even though I ordered him a 3T, they still leave red ridges around his little legs & waist after wearing them at the pool. It didn't seem to bother him, though. They do, however, manage to keep poop in. Which is awesome. BUT its so hard to wiggle him out of the wet, tight diaper without getting poop all over the place & him. The disposable swim diapers have tear-away sides for easy removal...and well worth the extra cost for the convenience of not having to deal with nasty swimming pool poopies! 2Order 1-2 sizes larger, but good diaperMy toddler swims daily, so using reusable swim diapers was way too expensive. Also, quite a few swim instructors had told us that they don't do a great job. Instead, theyrecommended using two swim diapers. So, we bought this one and the Finis one. This oneis smaller than the Finis, so we put it underneath the other swim diaper. We bought a 3T for a boywho wears 2T pants from Costco quite loose. I'd definitely go up one or two sizes. Still, it does a great job. 5Good fit, but hassle to remove once messy. The fit seems good, but so far, it's only done a fair job of containing all particulates from escaping in the pool. I'm not sure a disposable would've done any better, but atleast you can rip those off instead of trying to get kiddo out of this without covering everything in ickiness. If your toddler is potty training, this would be perfect as it doesn't retain liquid anyway & hopefully they would alert you to the need to do otherwise. 3Good inexpensive and highly recommendedPerfect Swim Diaper. Accepted in my school swimming pool. It doesn't put any bulky weight for babies. Very good elegant and soft fabric. Easy to wash as well. Long lasting. First one ran for more than a year. We used it in sea water, swimming pool. We got new one only because of the size. The first one is still in good shape. 5Works greatI use a multitude of swim diapers between the two of my kids and long days at the beach. Disposables are okay but I wanted a swim diaper that my kids could wear with nothing over it and still look cute since we mostly just do a swim diaper/rash guard combo. Since it's pink, it matches most girly rash guards which is great for versatility. It's lightweight which is a MUST for fast drying. When you're at the beach and your kid's in the water every day, you want something that will dry overnight without having to go in the dryer. It's tough to pull on but that's a GOOD thing. If it's too loose it won't hold the poop! I have other rash guard/swim diaper sets (that were sold together) where the swim diaper is SO THICK that it doesn't even dry within 24 hours and they're big and bulky. Because this one is lightweight/thin, it can easily be worn under a regular bathing suit. 5Sizing is grossly smallSize 2 looks tiny more like a size 6 - 12 month! It would not even fit around our daughters two legs hardly and we could not pull it all the way up. It's cute but will fit our build a bear much better.I'd expect it might work well. But since we didn't get the chance to try and the sizing issue is huge, so I rate it a 2! It takes time to pick these and then trying to send them back when companies can't/ or don't take a few extra minutes to put measurements and proper sizing on kids clothing is really annoying. 2
