It seemed a little pricey but I needed a leather bag approximately this size so I paid what I thought was a bit much. When I opened the box and look at what I had purchased. I see now the value that this pouch was worth every penny. Even the snap on top looks kind of cheap but it isn't. It's a heavy duty snap. The leather is a high quality I don't think you will find this quality merchandise many places and even then for this price. Beautiful leather on this case! I bought this as a small camera/lens case, and it works perfectly for that. The clip attaches to my belt loops and keeps the camera easily accessible. 5Five Stars Beautiful, spacious and functional. 5High-Quality Thick Leather - Limited Drawstring Closure - Great for Airplane Seat-Backs Piel is known for producing high-quality leather accessories.This Piel Leather Drawstring Pouch is made in Colombia of an excellent gradeof fairly thick and high-quality genuine leather. It is well-constructed with goodstitching, and clearly built-to-last. It is gussetted to accommodate items of somedepth, making it a versitile shape for its convenient size. The interior has anylon inner side-wall pocket for keeping smaller items separated within the pouch.It also has a well-attached clasp that could be used to clip it onto thebelt-loop of your pants, or onto the carrying handle of larger bag, or onto one ofthe two collapsible rods that make up the pulling handle of most carry-on luggage.My only criticism of its design is that the drawstrings, when pulled to theirmaximum tightness, do not come even close to closing the top of this pouch.Specifically, when pulled taught, they reduce the size of the opening at the topfrom a little over 8 inches... to a little under 3 inches. That's still quite a gap.To put it another way... if you filled this pouch with large-diameter coins, such assilver dollars, and pulled the drawstrings taught, and turned the bag upside-down...all of the coins would fall out. To be fair, this is due to the thickness of thehigh-quaility leather used to manufacture this pouch.Personally, I purchased this drawstring pouch, because it is the perfect size to fitin the elastic pocket of the back of the seat in front of me when I travel on anairplane. I can put a bottle of water or juice in the pouch (which takes up half ofthe space in the pouch), along with a couple of little snacks... and the separateinner pocket still has room to hold my iPod or iPhone, with earphones, along withmy boarding pass and passport and wallet. The fact that it does not securely close allthe way at the top is therefore not critically important for my purposes.If you are a man looking for a perfectly sized and shaped sack / pouch / bag for holdingjust the stuff you need with you at your seat while you are on an airplane... and able to fiteasily into that elastic pocket on the back of the seat in front of you... and you don't want tolook like you are carrying a small lady's purse... this more masculine option is as close toperfect as you can get. Or if you are doing some sort of medeival re-enactment and youwant a classic "money bag" to hang from your horse's saddle... it looks like it would beperfect for that also. Though admittedly, I suspect that later option is a very limitedtarget demographic. :) 4Fire starting bag Survivalist here, got this bag to hold my fire starting gear but now it holds two knives a multi-tool multiple fire starting equipment (Amico 30x Foldaway Eye Loupe Gemstone Jewelry Magnifier with LED Light, metal match, strike anywhere matches, fat wood, the list really does go on) great solid made bag great for my purposes. 5Perfect for my needs. This pouch is exactly what I was looking for. It's actually even bigger than I expected so It's even more handy. The leather quality is excellent, and the clip is of a similar high quality. Useful for carrying around my over the ear headphones, headphone amp and cables. 5Much more than I expected! I have to be ready to pick up and travel at a moment's notice and therefore stay prepared. I enjoy traveling with my inexpensive jewelry and could not find a case that wasn't bulky. This leather pouch is absolutely perfect for various jewelry containers. It's strong, closes tightly and is made of a very high quality leather. And...the leather smell is fantastic! Might consider another in black, if available. 5Love it Beautiful 5
