    It's a tie.It's a tie that looks like a tie and does what a tie should do. Be a tie. 4School Uniform TieHmm... It's a navy polyester tie. It's great for the school uniform and my son who loses everything at least once... Good value for a child. 4High sheen, plain weavePrice is excellent. I wear a tie daily. I'll report back after a year about longevity. Fabric is a smooth high thread count per inch "plain" weave, uniform, no texture, as opposed to basket weave, twill, etc. Fabric has much more sheen than new wool slacks. Length is not quite adequate for 6' 1" stature, when tied to the proper length the other end is not long enough to pass through the loop. Sheen is not my preferred reflectance, as it shows food stains more than other fabrics. Navy color slightly more blue than my wool navy slacks, matches my navy blazer well. Follow-on as of 2013-07: the high sheen makes it look dirty very fast, so I do not recommend for day-to-day wear. 3Almost love it!On their (TieGuys) actual website it states "matches David's Bridal Marine". Well, it almost matches. It's close enough though. Would have got 5 stars if it was dead on. Such a great price though. Looks like a great tie and what do you really need a tie to do??? :) Bought these for the groomsmen and what a great price for great little tie!!!! :) I would buy again! 4
