Customer Reviews

Worked, but found holes after just a few days :(I got these on Saturday and put them on immediately per my doctor's orders. I read the reviews and gave them a shot. Yes, they are sheer like tights. You can't wear them out without a dress or tunic. Yes, the fabric is mildly itchy - but it's nothing compared to the discomfort of the swelling. Yes, they DID help me. Both my husband and myself have seen improvement in just a few days. However, it is also true that they already have holes! It now Wednesday, again, arrived on Saturday, and multiple holes! I was even super careful to use the pads of my finger tips and NOT my nails. After spending that kind of money we expected a longer life out of these. Be prepared to buy others. 2Good quality, compression somewhat lighter than expectedI received my leggings three days ago, so it's my third day wearing them. Overall the item is well made and good quality. I read the reviews before ordering so I knew that they were going to be somewhat see through, and also knew about the hidden elastic on top.I was about 130 lbs pre-pregnancy. Now at 32 weeks I am about 150 lbs. Based on the size chart I thought I should go with M size. However, the reviews and the answers to the questions recommended going up one size. So I ordered L to be on the safe side. Well, it turns out they are a little too big for me. So I would recommend going with the true size per chart.Pros: they do feel very nice on, they are good quality strong material. The top part fits nice and comfortable over my belly, the elastic does not dig in. They are long enough (some reviews say they are short, like capri). I am about 5'6" and the leggings reach to the ankle bone. I am ok with the fact that they are somewhat see through as I was planning to wear them with dress, sweater dress or longer tunic.Cons: I feel that the compression could be stronger. I have thigh high compression stockings (different brand) that I bought a couple of months ago. They provide a lot more compression and almost completely eliminate any kind of pain or ache ( including the round ligament pain, which I get a lot when I don't wear compression stockings). However I have been wearing the stockings under pants and jeans during the winter. Now that it is getting warmer I am going to wear dresses, and so I was looking for leggings to go with that. These leggings do provide some compression but it is definitely not medical grade compression like what I got used to and was expecting. I still plan on wearing them because they do look and feel good. I might use my thigh high stockings under the leggings, to get both compression and butt coverage. It is possible that if I went with a smaller size they could have provided stronger compression. It is hard to choose the right size because everybody gains weight differently. All my weight gain is in my belly, but some women also gain it in their legs and thighs. In that case, I am guessing, you should go one size up. 4Thank god I got these! These have been a god-sent! This is my second pregnancy and it's been rough. I have SPD (pubic bone separating) and developed painful varicose veins in my groin, leg, and even vulva! Ouch! I was in so much pain that I could hardly leave the house, let alone care for my toddler. I decided to give these a try out of desperation, it's summer so it's not exactly the ideal time to be wearing leggings. I put them on first thing in the morning and wear them all day long and they have made such a difference that I am now able to run errands and feel *almost* normal again. I think they're even helping with my SPD pain too! I usually wear the belly part rolled down because it bothers me putting a little pressure on my belly and this baby is already really low. I only wish they came in more colors- grey would be perfect! 5I was a bit disappointed. The leg part is greatI am 36 weeks pregnant and recently got varicose vains popping out on my legs. After reading reviews I decided to try these leggings. I was a bit disappointed. The leg part is great, it is tight enough to keep my vains in place but the top part is too tight and makes my belly hurt. After wearing it a couple of times I decided to cut the thick band and see if it'll stay up without it. I wish I had known that the elastic band inside was adjustable. It has 2 little buttons that you can move and make it smaller or larger. Oh well. Hope someone else can use this info and not ruin the leggings like I did. I am still wearing them without the tight band but they don't stay up as well as I was hoping them to. 2Fantastic for Air Travel While Pregnant!I recently wore these tights at 6 1/2 months pregnant on a 7-hour trans-Atlantic flight to prevent blood clots because I have a clotting disorder. They worked very well for me and are surprisingly comfortable. I am 5'1'', my pre-pregnancy weight is 115 lbs, I am currently 130 lbs and the Small fit perfectly. I wore them under maternity jeans. I strongly recommend them for other pregnant women who will be travelling. Remember, of course, that to prevent blood clots it's also important to walk around the plane hourly, drink at least 3L of water the day of the flight, and drink several more bottles of water throughout the flight. 5Tights not leggings but they WORKMy story: I was desperate for relief so I bought these. They are not easy to get on especially if you re in the third trimester BUT if they were easy to get on they wouldn t work. The belly part isn t super comfortable if you re in the third trimester but ladies....if your legs are burning and hurting so bad it s hard to walk around? Fold down the belly part and make it work. I have VV going up to where the sun does not shine and these made a HUGE difference. There is not compression in the vaginal area so keep that in mind but you can pull the compression area up to the bikini line. These are TIGHTS not leggings. I ve been wearing them under my skinny jeans (it s winter) and some pairs it s a snug fit but most of the time it s fine. These are fairly thin enough to do that. Again, these are TIGHTS. Your underwear will show in these. 5They Work. I'm Cranky & Uncomfortable. Love-Hate RelationshipI'm typically a medium-large, and I sized up to an XL for my third trimester of pregnancy, and I'm so glad I did! I would have been very cranky squeezing into anything tighter. If in doubt - size up. They're a little tall for my 5'5" frame, but they're well made and true compression stockings. The belly area is loose and woven differently so as not to constrict the tummy. I HATE support stockings - hate, hate, hate - so I have a hard time giving anything compression stocking-related a positive review for comfort, but these look a lot like leggings and they WORK. (I would make SURE I have a tunic top on though -- there's still a little something "off" about them if you try to wear them as pants - trust me; they hug the legs differently than a pair of leggings). They're opaque, not sheer/see-through, and they WORK! My legs and thighs and "crotchular region" were all quite relieved of the hellacious varicose vein pain when I wore these. HOWEVER, they're uncomfortable in their own way, bunching here and there, and feeling tight and hot (it's still 90 degrees outside here in late September - waaaaah!), but I can't say I blame the leggings or the company; I think it's just the nature of the beast, given my experience wearing stockings of all sorts. They're just a necessary evil. I'll be shocked if I ever really feel "comfortable" in a support stocking. But then again, I don't like wearing pants in general, so maybe it's my aversion to clothing that gives me my love-hate relationship with compression tights/leggings. 5Better than expected, use the size chartBased on reviews I expected these leggings to be hit or miss, definitely not comfortable, but I needed something and took a gamble. However, I m very pleased with these.Pre-pregnancy I m usually around 139 lb, but now at 32 weeks pregnant I m in the 160s, so going by the size chart I ordered the XL. These actually fit very well, even around my stomach, not too tight, but tight enough at my legs to still provide compression. I dare say these are comfortable for me. I wore them all day when I got them and wasn t hating them by bedtime. I m a flip flop addict so I love that these are footless leggings. For me, the leg area isn t stretched so much that the material becomes transparent, so they wear like a true legging. I really like this because it looks like normal clothing, so I can easily pair with tunic tops or short dresses for a nice outfit.Overall, I m very impressed and would order these again. Definitely go by the size chart. 5Legs are great, but the top is less than flatteringI have had varicose veins this time around with my second son. My doctor recommended that I purchase compression leggings. There don't seem to be many options out there for a reasonable price so I finally ordered these. They took a very long time to come in (i'm 35 weeks at this point) and are only ok. I can feel the support in the legs but they are more like tights as they get past my thighs (ie- SEE-THROUGH).For the belly portion.... They have strange seams that do not lay flat so I cardigan was required over my top to smooth everything out. Also, there is no bellow support built in... all of the support ends in the legs and its just an ill-fitting pouch with a sewn in elastic at the top. These definitely could be been made better. They will do the trick for the few weeks I need them but I wish they had a few more features and provided better support all around. 3Not bad but can be betterI am 30 weeks pregnant and my veins are popping like crazy. I'm 5'7'' tall and my current weight is about 188 lbs. I didn't remember my pre-pregnancy weight so I estimated at around 170lbs and ordered size L. The leggings are too long, there is a lot of fabric around my hips. The compression level is perfect around my calves but a bit too light in thigh area. For now I am comfortable wearing the product, the leggings seem on the breathable side. Also, the envelope came a day earlier then predicted day of delivery. The leggings are packed in a clear plastic bag with a small label, there is no size chart included. Food for thought for the manufacturer - design the product according to height. 3
