    Stylish HeadbandThis nice one-size-fits all - women's ponytail headband is black with pink trim. I purchased two of these for my friends that are avid runners. It is very stylish and has an innovative design that allows a ponytail to be put through the back hole much like a ball cap. The fabric is soft, premium quality polyester fleece insulates while wicking moisture to keep you warm and comfortable throughout your workout. It has a poly / spandex binding enhances comfort and ensures a secure fit; the contoured shape measures 2.5" at the forehead and 4" over the ears --- delivering extra protection where it's needed most. It is available in a wide variety of colors and is machine wash and air dry.5Great!Love this! Perfect for running on a chilly day! Great fit and looks nice.5I love TrailHeads running accessories -- and I'm a guy (with short hair)This entire TrailHeads line is marketed toward women, but I'm a guy and at this point I own several of their items, because their quality is high, the style is what i want (high-visibility green), it's comfortable and it keeps me warm.I use this high-visibility green headband while sailing in the winter in the pacific northwest, under my other cold-weather gear. I slip it down around my neck or up to my forehead, depending on what I need. I have many other head and neck protection items, and I rotate through them depending on the situation, but this headband is one of my favorites.I also have the black-with-green-accent version which I use running, and it matches my other running gear (which includes TrailHeads fleece hand warmers, and TrailHeads elements running gloves).The ponytail port is irrelevant to me at this point (I have short hair) but the hole does not feel like it diminishes the effectiveness of the headband.Great stuff.5Gets the Job DoneI bought this headband for cold-weather running. It is pretty great for keeping my ears warm. The only problem I have with it is pretty silly, but apparently I like to wear my ponytail a heck of a lot higher than it needs to be in order to actually put it through the little ponytail holder thingy, so usually I just leave it out of it, but it's still good to keep the ears warm. I withheld one star because I felt like I could get a similar product for a much lower price. It's still a good product, though. It gets the job done for sure.4Fits under biking helmetPurchased for my wife who has recently taken up biking. The Trailheads ponytail headband fits under her helmet while keeping her ears warm and her hair out of the way. The high-visibility color is a plus. It matches her shirt.5Cute and warm !!I can t believe how warm it keeps my ears! I live in Colorado and hike a lot, and that s saying a lot! I believe these are a little bit more expensive than other brands which I have tried! You get what you pay for when it comes to outdoor outter ware!!5Not impressedUnfortunately, I wasn't that impressed with this product. The material is a lot thinner than it appears in the stock photos. The few times I've worn it, I haven't found it to be very good at keeping my ears warm. In addition, the ponytail hole is incredibly awkward spot; its location makes it almost impossible to have your ponytail comfortably through the hole while keeping your ears covered at the same time. You have to wear you ponytail super low while trying to pull the band up super high to cover your ears. Lastly, it is really, really tight. I don't have a big head by any means, and I find it hard to wear this for longer than 30 minutes at a time. Overall, it is just an okay product. I would not recommend to others, and I would not purchase again.3Design doesn't work for me.There's no way I can get my fat ponytail in the ponytail hole, but I can make a high ponytail and just not use the hole. However, the headband leaves a line imprint on my forehead that didn't disappear for hours, so I don't think I'll be wearing this again. It would probably work well for someone with a smaller head and thinner/shorter hair. It did keep the wind out of my ears the day I wore it, though, so if it fits you it should work well.3Warm to the ears only.I feel warm in it but I think the Band should be a bit Wider. The picture looks like the band is wide. Bought it because I wanted to use it to hike and run in it. Besides keeping ears warm it's important to keep right above the forehead warm too. Please add more material amd made the pony tail a little bigger. Price should go down two - three dollars if you don't plan to make any changes. Paying that price is not worth it. I normally hardly make any reviews but a avid hiker and runner and enjoy my head bands. Running a half and full marathon back to back weekend. It's gonna be cold.4Keeps my ears warm in the coldI run on the track team yearlong, so this was an essential for me! It keeps my ears from freezing during the cold workouts.As other people have noted, the ponytail hole really only works with a low ponytail, but that's how I usually keep my hair during exercise, so it hasn't been a problem for me.Overall, if you want to keep your whole head warm, a hat is probably better. This has been great for my ears and it even covers the forehead a little bit.5
