Run Small!!!These socks are very cute, and do stay on longer than most socks. However, they run small! I used the sizing chart and even though my daughter's feet (per measurement) should fit within the 0-12 month very comfortably, they are too small. So they actually do come off her feet quite a bit. Surprisingly still not as bad as some other brands, so probably just need to size up to solve this issue. Big bummer though that given the cost, you can t rely on the sizing chart. 3Beware the BowsThe product arrived on time and in the great box shown in the picture (bonus-my daughter looooves to play with the box and it is sturdy, so has held up well). Colors are great and, after having these a couple of months now, I've not detected any fading from washing. Also, no pilling. I gave it 3 instead of 5 stars because a bow fell off--not great for a toddler who then may try to eat it. My husband is asking me to now cut all the bows off (he doesn't know what we paid for them! I just let it pass). I've inspected the other bows, which seem to be attached just fine, but we'll have to keep an eye on the socks every time she wears them. Its become a headache. So I'd order Trumpettes in the future because they are so adorable and good quality, but will just stick to those without anything attached. 4Adorable Socks, But Watch Sizing...I LOVE the Trumpette socks and these socks are no exception. They are beautiful and hold up exceptionally well in the wash. My daughter had socks like these as a newborn through her first year and then I was elated to find out they also came in a 12-14 month size so I quickly purchased these as well. My daughter has little feet, but my experience with the Trumpette socks sizing is this: The 0-12 months is really 6-12 months and the 12-24 months is probably 12-18 max. My daughter is 18 months old and wears a todder size 5, she can technically wear the socks, but they're pretty small already. The colored part on the bottom of the sock doesn't cover the entire bottom of her foot. Also-- now that she's walking and running everywhere-- the Trumpette tread on the bottom is very small and thin and doesn't really have the gripping you'd like to see in a toddler sock. 4High Quality, Super High StyleI bought my first box of Trumpette socks when I was pregnant and nesting...that's where my addiction to them started. I have tried other store brands of socks, Carters, Old Navy, etc., none come even close to these! Besides being available in super cute designs, they are definitely worth the higher price. The bows do not separate in the wash, the socks do not slip off babies feet (like nearly EVERY other brand does). Even though they do not slip off the babies foot, they also do not leave an impression mark of being tight. The cotton is a nice quality that washes well. Also the socks have rubber bottoms, helps prevent any slip and slides when your baby starts to become more mobile.Small tip: Get a mesh net/bag to wash these in. My husband said he really liked them, so we are all a happy family with these ballerina socks 5One of the Best Gifts Ever to Give to Newborns and Toddlers!These Trumpette Mary Jane socks are stunning gifts to give to newborns and toddlers. The families just love them because they're so adorable and useful in covering their babies' feet. For the boys, we've gone with some of the other "athletic" options suitable for them. Never have we given this as a gift without it being received as one of the best gifts ever. They fit well, are soft and comfy, and can be ordered for kids up to 24 months. What a fantastic gift to give to newborns and toddlers. They are just beautiful, and the families are thrilled. 5Fun and unique gift, quality product. You won't need any other socks!This is a splurge, people. Normally, I'd never pay this much for 6 pairs of socks that a baby will outgrow quickly. However, these socks are much better quality than the knockoffs you find at some of the bigger stores like Target and Walmart. Sure, those are more affordable, but these are more durable, more vividly colored, and most importantly, they stay on your baby's feet.My daughter wore these and we never lost a sock. We tried some of the knock offs and they were always falling off or scrunching at the ankles. They stretch, so you can get some wear out of them for about a year if you're not too picky about the heel being in exact right place.I kept the whole set and now my daughter puts them on her American Girl doll.Definitely a nice purchase if you want to give a gift to someone who's having a baby and you want to be unique and stand out. The mom will probably not splurge on these for herself but trust me, she'll be thrilled you gave them to her! 5Trumpette socks are the best!I will start by saying I LOVE Trumpette socks and these are no exception! Trumpette socks are the only socks I've ever been able to keep on my baby's feet (both my son and daughter). I find it completely pointless to put shoes on my babies before they can walk (total waste of money!), so I can justify spending a little bit extra on cute, good quality socks. They've always held up well, despite being chewed on and washed numerous times. I was worried about these because of the bow on top, but they seem to be perfectly fine being washed and dried.These are very pretty jewel tone colors - perfect for winter. I will say that I find Trumpette socks, in general, to run small. These don't seem to run quite as small as others I've encountered. With my son, we were using the 12-24 month sizes by the time he was 6-8 months. My daughter is six months tomorrow and these are still quite a bit big (and size wise she is 95> percentile in weight and height). 5Cute- small boxLooks exactly like the picture. Adorable and good quality. No fraying and box was not damaged. I've purchased this brand before and they have lasted multiple washes without fading/fraying/thinning. FYI-box is about 7 inches so looks a bit tiny if your going for a substantial looking gift. Expensive socks are worth it only if they perform as expected.After one wearing, there was a hole in the middle of one of the sets of socks.By the second wash, another hole showed in a second sock.My daughter is small, only 10 pounds and does not yet sit, crawl or walk, so the socks should be in perfect condition.I'm hoping I just got a bad box. This used to be my go to present for new moms, but no longer will be so after this experience. 1
