The experience of putting it on is similar to putting on a neoprene wetsuit. There is a very strong latex panel (with spandex layers over it on both the inside and outside that are not fused to that panel) around the midsection of this slimmer that takes some serious muscle to stretch. Allow yourself some time to put this on, and take it in sections. It helps to turn it inside out, step into the legs, and roll it on bit by bit, stretching the slimmer and tucking in your flesh as you go. But be prepared for some tugging and gradual adjusting and the need for rest breaks and patience, and trim your nails short. You may also want to powder; sweat makes it a little more difficult.But once you've got it on, this baby sucks you in all over. I have friends that swear by this to wear for cosplay under superhero unitards, and I heartily agree. I never wanted to take it off (and not just because I didn't want to go through the whole process again!)I thought the thong would be uncomfortable, but it doesn't ride up and cut into the crotch; the bodyslimmer pretty much holds it in place. The butt cutouts gives you a little extra curve. I was worried about the line showing around the rear end opening, but it's pretty subtle. The legs are not as heavily elasticized as the midsection and are very comfortable.
